For a soul that was once so entangled in mine,
it's strange to only know of your life
now in whispers and stories, and friends of our friends.
We both know it happened, but can't trace the end.But I've heard you moved on, cut your hair all short,
and though they didn't say, I know I'm barely a thought
in that conscious of yours; a heart wrapped in wounds.
Can you recall me again, or is it still too soon?Well, how long is a lifetime?
Can you get through yours
not in mine?
You slipped out of my hands, I'll
miss you all the time, now.I saw you got your papers and you landed your degree.
A milestone I missed out on. Is this the price of being free?
The picket fence, the charming guy, the future's bright in your eyes
that I'll never see, never forget, because I had them memorised. The dreams we used to talk about, the things we didn't know,
and all those hopes the anchored us, where did we let them go?
The way our path split down the middle to never meet again -
I've lived eight years since all of it, but still can't grasp we have an end.Well, how long is a lifetime?
Can you get through yours
not in mine?
You slipped out of my hands, I'll
miss you all the time, now.
What's a heart worth, anyway,
when love is only
giving it away?
Now I won't see you anymore,
but I'll miss you, that I'm sure.Longer gone than you were here.
What's right is wrong.
Love disappeared.
I loved you for a lifetime,
but I'll miss you for forever.Well, how long is a lifetime?
Can you get through yours
not in mine?
You slipped out of my hands, I'll
miss you all the time, now.
What's a heart worth anyway
when love is only
giving it away?
Know I won't see you anymore,
but I'll miss you, that I'm sure.
I miss you. That I'm sure.Longer gone than you were here.
Your love won't disappear.I loved you for a lifetime.
I'll miss you for forever.'Lifetimes' - 01/05/2024.
Your love won't disappear.
