So Sad It Doesn't Hurt.

I found some photos that I don't think I was supposed to see. 
How everyone learned to move on from the absence of me. 
Kinda strange, like I was never even there. 
Kinda sad, like they never even cared. 

Missed my senior year of high school. 
Classmates that I'd had since preschool. 
Couldn't go a day without 'em. 
I was never thought of again. 

So I'll lose some friends I'll never see again.

If I asked, they'd say they miss me, 
funny how they'd never say it first. 
I'm so sad, it doesn't hurt. 

My greatest friend lived fine without me; 
one week later, she'd replaced me. 
If I was the one who lost her, 
everyone would see that I hurt. 

But her mother's table has a seat 
that was always saved for me; 
it was filled after a week. 
I'm scared they never talked about me. 

So I'll lose some friends I'll never see again.
