I woke up around midnight to an empty bed. I sat up puzzled and looked around me. I totally forgot that I was still at Hayes's house. I looked down at myself and found that I was in his football hoodie. weird. I got up and walked over to his balcony and found him sitting in a chair looking out at the lake. I slowly opened the door to him
"hey. I better head home soon" I said and he turned to me
"no baby please stay" he said with a pleading face as he reaches for him hand
"Hayes, we have two more days of school left." I said as Hayes rubed his thumb over my knuckles
"so? you can't stay the night" he said with a smirk
"no. im sorry. I really must go home." I said and he let go of my hand and stood up
I immediately grew in fear as he got close to me
he pulled me into a tight embrace and I wrapped my arms around him
"baby girl, please stay" he said
he knows when he calls me baby girl it makes my knees go weak.
I pulled away
"I can't" I walked out and down his steps with Hayes following me.
"Haley! please wait up!" he said as I walked out the door
I stopped, paused, and turned to him
before he could say anything, our lips collided and chills went up through my body
dang was he a good kisser
I felt his hands make their way down my butt as he lifted me up
I wrapped my arms around his neck
we both pulled away for air and I giggled
he smiled
"as much as I want to stay, I really must go" I said in a serious tone
he gave me the pouty, puppy dog face like the one you used on your mom when you were 4 when you wanted ice cream but she said no
I lightly kissed his lips and he put me down
"promise me that you'll stay the night this summer" he said
"promise" I said
with that I was off to my house
once I arrived at my house I slipped through my window and fell on my bed
I felt my phone vibrate and I pulled it out from Hayes's hoodie pocket

I smiled and replied:
miss you too loser
he replied:

I replied:
maybe. goodnight
he replied:
goodnight I love you
I smiled and my heart skipped a beat:
I love you too :)
with that, I put my phone down and slipped into the covers and fell into a deep sleep
