*HALEY'S POV*
I opened my eyes to an unfamiliar area. I sat up on the bed I was in and the memories started flooding back into my brain
after the dance on the boat, Hayes pulled out a blanket and put it down all over the boat so we could lay down. he sat down and I did the same. he looked up at the sky and was memorized by the millions of stars that were painted in the sky
"beautiful isn't it?" he asked
"yeah it sure is" I said and looked at him
"just like you" Hayes said and I blushed
thank god it was dark so her couldn't see
I looked down and bit the inside of my cheek
"no, not really" I said avoiding his big , ocean blue eyes
he frowned & lifted my chin
our eyes were locked on each other and he leaned in
I immediately panicked and pulled away
"i-i I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that" he said backing away and starting to get up
"no no... its okay" I said getting up too
he looked at him and gave him a warm smile and he did the same
I brought my face closer to his and lightly kissed his lips
he moved his hands to my waist and I placed mine around his neck
"haley"
"yeah"
"you're perfect"
perfect
It sent chills up through my body
perfect only describes something that is truly wonderful and fulfills everything
and I'm anything put perfect
in the middle of my thoughts I felt Hayes's lips press against mine
"Haley you alright? you don't look too good?" Morgan asked
"oh yeah I'm fine. just thinking about last night"
I never told Morgan about what happened between me and Hayes
it was only something that we needed to know
(a/n okay so idk if you guys know but there is a flashback in this and its in italics in the middle of the chapter after she wakes up
