"Hi, this is Ayesha.
We spoke last week during the exam." - Ayesha

"Yeah, I remember." - Arjun

"Nice. Actually, I need some help." - Ayesha

"With what?" - Arjun

"I have a test coming Monday. Math B. I don't understand anything sir teaches. And he seems serious about the test. Can you help me understand some important topics?" - Ayesha

"Ok, No problem."

Of course, he doesn't have any problem.

"But is there any reason you are asking this to me?" - Arjun

"You know David Sir, right?" - Ayesha

"Yes, he teaches Math B to first year's." - Arjun

"Yeah. He conducted a test last yesterday and almost no one performed well. And he started speaking about you. About how good you were in his subject and all." - Ayesha

"Oh! Right" - Arjun

Arjun feels proud of himself in his heart. Not because David Sir spoke about him in front of his juniors but because Ayesha said all this.

"Ok then, what's the topic ?" - Arjun

"Trigonometric ratios." - Ayesha

"That fcuking trigonomety. It never leaves me."  -Thought Arjun. Well, who doesn't hate trigonometry?

"OK. When do we start?" - Arjun

"Right now if possible." - Ayesha

Arjun checks the time. It's almost 8 at night.

"Are you sure? It's almost 8 pm. We can do this tomorrow." - Arjun

"Actually, I am going out with my friend tomorrow. So, I don't know if I will be tomorrow. But it's ok. You can teach me later if you have any problem." - Ayesha

"Actually, I am going out with my friend tomorrow" - This is the only thing Arjun got into his head. "Friend" Not friends. Is it boy? Is it her date? Is it her boyfriends? Arjun thought of all these things in his mind.

"It's ok. I am free now anyway." - Arjun

"Great. I'll send a Zoom call link to your number then." - Ayesha

"OK" - Arjun

A moment of silence.

"Sorry, I don't have your number." - Ayesha

"Oh. It's 86******38." - Arjun

"Ok." - Ayesha

A notification sounded on Arjun's mobile.
"Hi"

"That's my number." - Ayesha

Arjun saves it as "Ayesha"

After a minute, she shares the link. Arjun said he would join it after 5 minutes as he wanted to wash his face and dress up properly.

He clicked on the link and joined.

"Hello". - Ayesha

"Hi" - Arjun

Arjun can't speak properly. He was staring at her face. But I don't she would notice it. She was wearing a pink T-shirt with her hair tied up. She was looking cute with that hairstyle.

"So, shall we start?" - Arjun tried to bring some words out of his mouth.

"Yeah. Sure" - Ayesha

Arjun couldn't speak properly. But he managed to teach her trigonometry as he is already pretty good at that. Yes, he loses his words sometimes in the middle. Because he looked at her face. Her eyes, nose, lips, and hair. The way her lips move when she asks a doubt. She smiled sometimes. And every time she smiled Arjun felt some warmness in his heart.

And finally, their session ended for the day. It was about 30 - 40 min long. But to Arjun, It wasn't enough. He wanted to teach her more, which is a lie obviously. He actually wanted to see her more. Talk to her more. See her smile. Make her smile.

"If you revise this tomorrow, it'll be a lot easier for you to understand the next topics." - Arjun

"Oh! Is that so?
I wish you could teach me tomorrow too." - Ayesha

Well, that's what Arjun wants.

"I can teach you tomorrow too. I have no problem. In fact, it helps me revise my basics." Arjun

"Yeah. But I already told you in the chat. I am going out with my friend tomorrow." - Ayesha

"Friend" Just who is this friend? Arjun thought of him.

"HIM" He already decided it's a 'He'.

"Wait. Why don't you join us tomorrow?" - Ayesha

"HUH" - Arjun

That is something completely unexpected.

"Yes. You know Kavya, right?" - Ayesha

"Yes" - Arjun

"So tomorrow is her brother's birthday. Her parents are out of town due to her distant relative's death. So, we planned a surprise party for her brother." - Ayesha

"Ok. That's really nice." - Arjun says with a smile and relief that there is no boy here.

"Yeah, So for that, we need to do some small shopping." - Ayesha.

"Ok" - Arjun thinks she will ask him to join her and help with shopping.

"So, I want you to stay with her little brother until we finish the shopping and make sure he doesn't get any doubt." - Ayesha

Ouch. It hurts. Somewhere. Arjun has high hopes. He's expecting too much from a girl he saw 2 weeks ago.

"Oh! Yeah. I can do that." - Arjun agrees as he wanna help her and also Kavya as he sees Kavya as his sister.

"Really? That's awesome, We can enjoy a lot, Arjun." - Ayesha

A pause.

"Sorry, It just slipped out." - Ayesha

Arjun understands what she's apologizing for.

"It's ok. You can call me Arjun. " - Arjun says with a small smile.

"Yeah. Ok then, I'll text you the address tomorrow." - Ayesha

"Yep. OK" - Arjun says while wishing she could share her address tomorrow.
Again high expectations.

"OK then. Bye, Arjun. And thanks a lot. Good night." - Ayesha says with a bright smile.

"You're welcome. Good night." - Arjun says with a small smile.

And the call ended.

He blushed for a few seconds. Then he texted Lily, his best friend. He told her everything happened. She encouraged him and warned him to be careful. Not to keep high expectations from Ayesha. Arjun noted them in his mind.

He eagerly waited for tomorrow. It was a second Saturday, so a holiday.

Let's see how this weekend goes for Arjun as he is slowly falling for Ayesha.
