>Kai's POV<

Chapter 4

Kai let out a loud breathe of air. He was laying in his bed beside Tristan, both of the boys sweaty and tired. Tristan cuddled up beside Kai, who hugged him into his side. "I wish you were my mate," Tristan said in a whisper.

"But I'm not," Kai said, a little to harshly.

"Ya I know," Tristan said and rolled over so his back was to Kai. Kai didn't bother with trying to repair what he did, he more cared about getting some sleep. He started to blush at the thought about what time it was right now. He cuddled up with Tristan against his stomach and went to bed.

In the morning Kai woke up first, he was happy that it was the summer. He was still cuddled up with Tristan, but he didn't mind. They did this a lot, neither of their parents protested, and both obviously knew. He didn't move from his spot since it was to comfortable. He whimpered quickly, with the thought of how this should be his mate. He got up, accidentally pushing Tristan off of the bed, he yelped and sprang up.

"What the hell!" Kai looked straight at him and growled. "S-sorry its j-just that you pushed me off the bed." Tristan said in a quieter, sheepish tone. Kai ignored him and got some fresh clothes on. Tristan only pulled on his clothes from yesterday. Some laughing could be heard from down the hall.

"Come on, I'm hungry," Kai said, waiting for Tristan to finish putting his clothes on before opening the door. Tristan had a frown on his face.

"Okay one sec," he hadn't raised his head since Kai growled at him earlier. When Tristan finally had his clothes on Kai opened the door, to see the pup running through the house in his wolf form. He looked up at Kai and barked, he couldn't help but smile at the little guy.

"Ah!" His dad exclaimed when he scooped the pup up into his arms. He yelped and growled a few times, and struggled to get out of Kobe's grip. Kobe then proceeded to take him down stairs. Kai laughed and walked down to the kitchen. His parents were standing with the pup in Kobe's arms, both of them were petting the little guy. Kai remembered when they would do that to him.

"Morning," Kai said with a wave.

"Morning son," his mom said with a smile.

"Morning," Kobe said, glaring at Tristan.

"Morning alphas," Tristan said, his head low. Kai's mom was the only one to respond.

"Dad, can you at least try to be nice?" Kai complained to his father.

"What do you ever mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean," Kai said in a threatening tone. The pup squirmed out of Kobe's arms and walked over to Kai, sniffing him. "Morning pup." The little wolf looked up at him and paused for a second before glancing at Tristan and sniffing him.

"He's been a little bother this morning," Tatiana said with a laugh.

"I heard," his mom had a comical smile on.

"I woke up to the sound of your father and him fighting, sure your dad was only pushing him, but the pup was biting him."

"Hard I might add," Kai couldn't help but laugh.

"Then they chased each other around," Tatiana moved over to her mate and put an arm around him.

"I was chasing him," Kobe added.

"I think he was chasing you, my dad, the big bad alpha scared of a little pup," Kai taunted.

"Oh that's it boy," Kobe charged after his son. Kai yelped and ran for the sliding door, wiping it open he ran outside. He could hear his dad running after him, the pup was barking and growling behind him. Kai jumped over the fence and changed quickly.
