Coming from a family of doctors, it didn't come as a shock for charlotte to have this dream. So she took the opportunity as soon as it came to her and left her hometown of New York and moved to Seattle to study medicine at Washington state university.
It wasn't that Charlotte hated New York, in fact she adored the city. She just didn't see herself building a future there.
After she graduated medical school, she began her internship at Seattle Grace hospital (getting a shock on her first day seeing as her older brother failed to mention he also fled to Seattle).
But what happens when one of the reasons Derek Shepherd left New York shows up in Seattle and thinks all is good in the world?
