They're back to normal from the next morning.

"How was your night?" Way asked.

"It was very good...."

"I can see, of course, it's your boyfriend's birthday."

"Way, I have something to say..."

"Yes, say it..."

But the phone rang and Pit was on the other side of the call.

"Hey Way, what are you doing?"

"Nothing..."

"You are very busy these days..."

"No, I'm not... I'm always free for you..."

"I have news... Guess what?...."

"Just tell me, I don't need any suspense."

"Me and Charlie are getting married next month."

"Oh, that's nice..." He replied

"Pete is with you?"

"Yes."

"What's going on between you two? You guys are always spotted together."

"He is just my friend..."

"You guys look good together, and guess what? I ship you both."

"No, he is like my brother..." Way said this because he thinks maybe Pete feels uncomfortable if someone connects with him.

Pete was also listening. He was very hurt when Way said he is just friends. His heart was more broken when Way said he is like his brother.

"He said 'brother,' why did I feel bad? I can see he still loves Pit, but why does it affect me? Am I really in love with him?" Pete thinks to himself.

"Pete, are you listening to me?"

"Yes, yes, I am..."

"Pit said he wants to attend his and Charlie's marriage next month."

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, but I have to accept it, he is someone else. It's totally wrong. I just want to forget about him and his memories. But it's not easy."

"Hey, you deserve better." Pete hugged him and wiped his tears.

"Whom I love, they left me."

"I'm with you, okay?"

"You have a boyfriend too; you will leave me after some time, I know."

"No, Way, you're wrong. I will never leave you; I will always be there for you."

"We will see."

"We are not dating, Way; he is only my friend."

"Liar, do whatever you want to do; I don't care."

"Really, I'm not lying."

"Okay, okay, we are getting late for college." Way adjusted himself and said. He felt very light after listening that Pete is not dating anyone.

"Are you sure, babe?"

"Yes, I'm sure we will marry."

"But can't you wait until I graduate?"

"No, I can't wait 2 years more."

"You will graduate this month and find a job, but what about me?"

"You have me, okay na?"

"But it's very embarrassing for me."

"Shhh, we are going to marry next month, and you will be my wife, that's why don't embarrass, okay."
