Kayla was going through such a rough patch. She couldn't focus on writing, due to so many ideas swirling around in her mind. Every idea that came up turned out to be stupid. She started book after book on Wattpad, only to delete them shortly thereafter.

"You're just not cut out to be a writer," said her older sister, Vanessa. "Why don't you quit?"

"I'm not gonna quit, Vanessa," said Kayla. "I can't seem to find my niche."

"Don't bother. Your stories are dumb."

Kayla was taken aback by Vanessa's words. The feeling of burnt out being stuck up burnout creek without a paddle.
