1 minute left there was no possible way to win we had lost the World Cup

I sit on the bench knowing that it was all over everything I had worked for since I was 3 I would never get the only trophy I really ever wanted and now I would never get it I watch the ref as she brings the whistle up to her lips the girls drop and the Spanish players run to each other

I just sit there and watch everything all I have ever wanted was that dam trophy we where so close and now I'm retiring with out it nobody knows about that yet I want to try and play this next season with Barcelona but I honestly don't know if I can I've not talked to Lucy about it yet I probably should but that's for a later date

I walk on to the pitch and alexia comes over and hugs me I hug her back and let a few of my tears fall she goes to say something but she's called over by 🤮 I don't like him

Time skip

We walk to get our medal as we walk past the trophy it reminds us and me what we lost why couldn't we just win
The next was the Spanish players to get them I sit on the floor because my knee hurt bad we all watch the Spanish team lift the trophy

We get our stuff we don't change and go on the bus back to hotel me and Lucy are sharing a room I go into the bath room and start the shower I let the tears fall how was I going to tell Lucy I can't not yet

Time skip to getting back to Barcelona

Me Lucy and Kira just got off the plane mapi Ingrid are picking us up we go to baggage claim and pick our bags up and walk out to see them standing there we hug and don't say anything the car ride back to our apartment was quite nobody knows what to say

It's been about an hour since me and Lucy got back to the apartment we have just been cuddling on the couch not saying anything " Lucy we need to talk " she sits up and has mix emotions on her face " yeah what's up what's wrong " I just look at her " Lucy I'm going back home "

She has a confused look on her face " when will you be back " I look away knowing what I'm about to say is going to start a fight " I'm not coming back " she gets up " what are you talking about you can't just go back there you have a contract here we have a house here " I try to get her hand " Lucy listen to me " she doesn't and just goes to the bed room we had both said we where never going back to Man City because of what happened there she didn't let me finish about 10 minutes later I go up to the door "Lucy we need to talk "

I get no response I open the door to see her asleep it's 9:30 pm we have a meeting at Barcelona tomorrow so I just get in bed and go to sleep hopefully I can talk to her about it tomorrow

Ok so I've decided to make this more then 2 parts but what do you all think happened at Man City that would make Lucy have that kind of reaction
