At the Girdeth Palace, Azekial and Drea's parents, Talkan and Oria sat in their court room in silence. Talkan fidgeting with his crown every ten minutes in boredom.
The guard whom Devan had bitten stumbled through the big golden doors. Out of breath and still bleeding from his arm. Two rows of teeth marks the source of the blood.
Oria and Talkan couldn't take their eyes off the wound.
"What in heaven's name happened to you?!" Talkan yelled.
The guard looked down at the wound and then back at the King, unsure what to say.
"Speak!" The King demanded.
The guard's mouth slowly opened and he said
"Uhhhm...I was bitten by the Prince's lover, your highness." His voice shaking with fear.
