“About what exactly?”
“About something one of our janitors found in Cameron’s office.”
“Oh? Well, enlighten me.”
“Here. It’s this purple necklace.”
“Hm? A necklace? Why does Cameron have this?”
“Don’t ask me, you know he’s been acting weird ever since… you know what.”
“Yeah, I get it. But it’s still strange though…”
“I should leave you with this-”
“Hold on, don’t leave yet. There’s something off about this necklace.”
“What is it?”
“Don’t know, but There’s something about this and it’s making me uneasy. It’s like it belongs to someone.”
“Belongs to someone? Who?”
“Riley, I need you to take one good look at me and tell me if I know or not, the answer will be right in your face. Obviously I don’t!”
“Uhm.. Well, you could go ask Cameron about it, see what he says.”
“I have high hopes he’s not even going to look at it or even talk about it, period.”
“You’ll never know once you try? Just go ask him, see if you can get any info about this necklace.”
“Fine, but you owe me one.”
I just know this is not going to end well… it’s Cameron! What do I expect from him except nothing? But, it’s going to be worth a shot anyway. It’s not like I’m magically going to find out by just staring at it. But hey, at least I get info rather than a headache.
