I couldn't continue the rest of the day without questions roaming my thoughts. Why did Deku do such things to himself? I've never seen him in any struggle or pain until now.

I wandered my way through the afterschool pit of kids, yelling and chittering echoing the open field. Up ahead I spotted the football stadium, the area I looked forward to today. The wind was getting to me now, icy air blowing onto my face. The cold stung my fingertips, and I could feel my lips tightening. I'm going to take a moment to relax and think, then I'll go home.

At least that's what I was hoping for.

Jogging to the sidelines, I managed to find a small spot exposed to the sunlight to set my things. I didn't find one player in sight. My heart thumped suspiciously, as if someone were to pull a prank at any moment. But there was silence.

  Usually something is here?

Instead, there was dirt and grass crystalized by the harsh freeze. As much as I enjoyed loneliness, this felt wrong.

I rested on the harsh grounds of the Earth, listening to the chirps of birds and creatures. I didn't realize how calm nature could feel, how quiet it could be. The wind soothed by now, the breeze just above a tickle to my cheek. Crusted dirt collected itself on my shoes to give a welcoming hug. Whispers of the trees occurred behind me, as if they were gossiping like the choir girls at lunch hour.

Suddenly, I heard muttering just a few feet away from me. Scanning the stadium, I spotted Teriyaki. He seemed as if he was looking for something, his hands stuffed in his pockets, his head cocked to the side. Was he looking for me?

Eager for Teriyaki's soothing presence, I got up and attempted to walk towards him, until another figure came into view. Voices soon followed after, and I paused in place. Who was that?

There stood a blonde with slicked back hair, tucked lips, and a casual button-up shirt. His smug expression didn't make me think twice about his identity.

   Kacchan.

I watched as the two approached each other into a hug. I couldn't help but feel jealous. Why was Teriyaki meeting Kacchan? Enraged, I stormed over to Kacchan in an attempt to denounce him.

"Hey, get off him," I shouted directly at
Kacchan, my eyes overflowing with anger. I curled my fingers into fists, not afraid to use them.

Teriyaki and Kacchan stopped their chit-chat and faced towards me. Out of the corner of my eye, Teriyaki smirked at me and he seemed like he enjoyed my anger. What did that mean?

"Woah man, chill. I was just talking with my best buddy," Kacchan punched Teriyaki playfully, chuckling.

I slapped his hand off Teriyaki defensively, staring dead into his eyes.

"Really, that's what's happening? You guys just meet secretly in an empty football stadium?"
       Kacchan's expression faded into

bewilderment, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of triumph. He shook his head and it seemed like he glanced at Teriyaki for a sense of help. Meanwhile, Teriyaki was looking like he was enjoying it all.

Annoyed by this, I faced Teriyaki and shook my head. "What's this?" I cried, getting lost in his eyes. I couldn't help but forget everything, to just stay there and stare.

"It's nothing, Bakugo. He's right, we're just friends meeting each other," Teriyaki replied with a sense of assurance, but I doubted him for more than a second. Why did they want to meet each other in such a place?

Interrupting my thoughts, Teriyaki gave me a kiss on the cheek and left with Kacchan to a sidewalk outlining the football stadium. The kiss made me forget everything. Maybe he was right, maybe I don't need to worry.
