I successfully avoided my mom and the coffee table thing on my way to school. Granted, it caused me to miss breakfast, but I was used to it by now.

Billy, Freddy, and I were walking through the school hallway when we heard people muttering around us to their friends about Super Billy.

"Have you seen the one where he throws the football into space?" A girl asked her friend.

"So dope," Another boy responded.

"Hey, you guys gotta wonder who's filming those, right? I mean, that's bravery in and of itself," Freddy said to the crowd in the hallway, although no one was paying attention.

"I mean, is it, though?" Who shoved a stick up Billy's ass this morning?

"Yeah. I'd actually argue maybe even more brave," Freddy said. I didn't really want to get into it, so I stayed quiet as best I could.

"Holding a camera?" Billy sassed.

"Staring in the face of danger," Freddy scoffed.

"Like some weirdo fanboy," I said, joking with the boys I was in the middle of. I really did not want to be in the middle.

"You record them too," Freddy whispered in my ear, making the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I've been feeling weird around him for the past couple of days.

I refuse to accept why.

"yeah but you're the weirdo that posts them," I whispered back in his ear, and I noticed he tensed a little as I spoke.

"Hey, Freeman," Burke said, walking in front of us.

Great.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Freddy said, standing up for himself. I have a feeling I know where this is going.

"What, is your bestie and girlfriend gonna hit us with a wheelchair this time?" Brett said, moving my hair from in front of my face to behind my ear, I grabbed his wrist, throwing it back down, glaring at him.

"No, maybe not them, but I have another best friend who might hunt you down and destroy both of you," Freddy replied.

Can we take a moment to question as to why he didn't deny that I was his girlfriend?

I'm not, but I don't know why it made me so happy that he didn't deny it.

"Okay, Freddy," Billy laughed, holding Freddy's shoulder.

"That's enough," I also laughed, talking in his ear, telling him to shut up.

Freddy cleared his throat before continuing, "You may have heard of him," He began to stutter, "The Human Power Storm. Frequency Flinger. Sir Zaps-A-Lot. Yeah. He's a man of many names."

"You know the Red Cyclone?" Burke questioned.

"You?" Brett scoffed, "My ass you do."

"Oh, we're a lot closer than you think. Maybe even at this very moment," Freddy had said, glancing at Billy.

"Freddy, stop being a dumbass," I said to him, trying to stop him from abusing Billy's identity and to stop him from accidentally slipping up.

Luckily, the Breyers are dumbasses and didn't believe him.

"Prove it," Burke said.

"I will, tomorrow. Tomorrow he's gonna come to lunch. Right, right, Billy?" Freddy replied, nervously.

"Oh, yeah, and then Superman's gonna be bringing us dessert, right?" Brett joked as the bell rang.

"Tomorrow at lunch. You'll see," Freddy told them, confidently.
