𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗰.

Aria and Conner entered the main entrance where Gar, Kory, and her sister greeted them. Aria was confused about the sight of the two sisters since she last heard that they weren't very close and hated each other.

"Hey, you're back," Conner greeted with a smile

"With company," Kory started to the group

"Kory's sister," Gar spoke in soft voice

"Her homicidal sister is in our house," Aria remained the boys

"Koriand'r, I see you've prepared a welcome gift, have him washed immediately and return to my chamber," Blackfire spoke looking at Conner

"Tamaran is a very different planet," Aria remarked looking at her

"The strapping one is my manservant, here to attend to my needs," Blackfire spoke out of confusion

"Sure, I can attend to your needs," Conner agreed in a confused voice

"That's not what she's talking about," Aria mumbled to her nephew

"We don't do that here and Conner is not your chew toy. He's one of us, A Titan," Kory stated making him pause

"But is the green one, not yours? I'll need someone to draw me a bath and where would that be?" Blackfire asked looking around

"No one's going to draw you a bath," Kory scolded her sister

"Upstairs, pick a room," Aria spoke pointing to the stairs

"Wherever black fire goes, chaos always follows so sleep with one eye open," Kory warned before following her sister

"There's been a development in...I didn't know we had a guest," Dick spoke as he walked into the kitchen

"Yeah, that's the thing I wanted to talk to you about," Kory admitted looking at him

"Blackfire, pleasure's yours," Blackfire spoke holding out her hand

"Blackfire, you're the person who killed your boyfriend and parents is in our kitchen," Dick spoke in confusion

"It's a long story, what were you saying?" Aria asked looking at her boyfriend

"Listen, there was an attack. Thomas and Martha Wayne Memorial Hospital the surgical team was k*lled, and a piece of medical equipment went missing, they found a drug inhaler at the crime scene," Dick explained before he turned to leave

"You just got shot," Aria stated grabbing him

"Bruce got shot all the time and it didn't stop him," Dick excused in response

"Look how well that went," Kory mumbled under her breath

"Then I guess I'll just have to do better, let's go," Dick stated before walking out

"I understand now, the super one isn't your manservant, he satisfies your urges," Blackfire commented to Aria

"I'll go and make sure he stays safe," Kory told her friend

Aria gave a grateful nod before heading to the library to get back to reading up on old news articles in hopes of digging something up. The boys had enlisted to help her dig up the past and Gar was growing upset and annoyed by the minute at all the dead ends he was hitting.

"What's the point of looking for a dead end when it's a dead end?" Gar asked as he walked in

"The point is that nothing could become something," Aria stated looking at him

"What are we even looking for?" Conner asked walking up to her

"Whatever we feel is linked or connected to what is going on now," Aria explained picking up a new book

"Have you heard from Kory and Dick?" Gar asked making her sigh

"They'll be here any moment," Aria explained looking at him

"What are you going to ask him?" Conner asked causing her to shake her head

"I'm not sure but I'll get to the bottom of it," Aria stated to them

Aria heard the front door open causing her to walk out, she pulled Dick to the side so they could have a talk.

"Are you okay? If you want to talk about something, I'm all ears, Dick, I got to ask, back at the cabin..." Aria started to mumble off

"What about it?" Dick asked looking at her

"Were you going to kill Jason?" Aria asked in concern

"What makes you say that?" Dick asked as he was offended

"Batman went off on his own and killed the Joker and you went off on your own and..." Aria explained as he shook his head

"Aria, Gotham got to Bruce and it gets to me too, I don't want to have to kill Jason," Dick defended himself

"I just don't understand, why'd he go bad?" Aria asked in a questioning tone

"He had a tough life, that's what Bruce looked for, someone with anger, and someone he could make into a weapon," Dick explained as he walked up to her

"But Crane's manipulating him," Aria reminded her boyfriend

"Look, I have to believe that this dude we fought alongside..." Dick started before she shook her head

"That he's not all bad and what if this is not his fault?" Aria asked in a soft voice

"What if it is? We don't know," Dick stated before walking out

Aria figured that she probably wouldn't get an actual answer out of him but she did wish that he would open up about what was going on in his head. She shook her head before heading back to help the boys some more in the library.
