Several scientists were swarming the underground lobby area of the building, murmuring and whispering amongst themselves. 5554 and 1245 wade themselves to the front of the crowd, confronting the pale man before them. 5554's eyes widened, confused by 9637's appearance. His skin was not what skin was supposed to look like. A pale gray color. Unnatural, for humans. "9637..it is you, right?" 5554 asked. 9637 nodded to give him confirmation. "I'm positive you all have many questions. Trust me, you will get answers in due time. But first. 5554, 1245, I need you all to come with me. I have things to discuss with you." 9637 turned, beckoning for them to follow him. The two scientists raised their eyebrows. "Discuss what, exactly?"

Turning his gaze to them, he spoke. "The truth, of course."

The three co-workers traveled to one of the many resting rooms, with 5554 placing his hands on the table, glaring at 9637. "A lot has occurred with us. But first, we need to know what happened to you. Where have you been? After the test, you just up and vanished." 9637 put one of his hands in the pocket of his jacket. "I was abducted by this being, who was known as a Watcher. His name is Futaih. They took me when the test was being conducted, and I evidently just now returned." 1245 furrowed his eyebrows. "So in other words, an enigmatic force came and plucked you off elsewhere? Why?" 9637 lowered his head. "To tell you all the truth, I have not been completely honest about my origins."

9637 looked up at the ceiling, watching the fan spin endlessly. "I am somewhat of an anomaly to this world. Simply saying, I do not belong in it. I am not from it." 5554 gasped. "9637's an alien? That actually makes a whole lot of sense now." Chuckling, 9637 waved his hand in dismission. "No no, not an alien per say, but you can call me an off-worlder. We know of the multiverse theory, yes?" The two scientists nod. "I've been trying to perfect my wormhole tech, so I can travel to other universes for intel. Plus, I think I fit the bill as an awesome world hopper." 9637 smiled at the comment, while 1245 rubbed his face at 5554' childish speech. "Nevertheless, I am not from this world of yours, you two." 9637 said.

1245 squinted. "So you're from another universe you're saying." 9637 nods. "Precisely. This is the reason the watcher took me away. They claimed I have messed up the timeline in totality." 5554 rubbed the back of his head. "Jeez, that's pretty harsh. He basically said "you're doomsday with legs" dude." 9637 took off his bracelet.

"To demonstrate his words, here is an example." On the table, purple chrome formed into a straight line. "We have this universe here, flowing in a straight line." The chrome multiplied into identical lines. "We then have other universes. All with the same thing, but with the possibility of separate events all together. According to him, there are an infinite amount of universes. In each of them, all of you exist in some form. But I do not." He took one of the lines of chrome, and broke a piece off, making it visibly separate from the rest. "This is a timeline that cannot occur, because I do not exist within any of them. I am an anomaly. Everything that has happened with me involved, has led to impossible outcomes." 5554 whistles. "That's trippy, but also pretty cool sounding. So what did he do?" 9637 caused the chrome to seep back into his bracelet. "We had a fight, is all." 1245 narrowed his eyes.

"You fought this presumed to be all powerful being, and you come back with so much as a scratch?" 9637 nods. "Correct." The two co-scientist exchanged glances before 5554 let out a laugh. "Well jeez dude! That's pretty awesome if you ask me." 5554 then frowned. "Oh but dude. We have some things to tell you about." 9637 shook his head. "You need not to inform me, I am well aware. Two of our own have perished by the hands of Echo." 1245 looked confuzzled, glaring at 9637. "How could you possibly know that?" 9637 stayed silent for a brief few moments.

"The watcher informed me of the matter before I left." 5554 raised his hand slightly. "Yeah speaking of, you didn't tell us where they sent you exactly." 9637 crossed his arms. "Another dimension entirely. The dimension was devoid of life, and made completely of foreign substances. To tell the truth, I have zero clue what it is entirely." 5554 put one hand on his chin, closing his eyes. "I bet I could make a wormhole there once I perfect the tech. But it still needs a lot of work." 1245 cleared his throat. "Is there anything else notable that we should know?" 9637 nods, his expression grim. "The watcher will be back for me if the Echo situation is not promptly dealt with. I made them a deal. Once I correct my mess, I will leave this world." 5554's eyes widened. "Wait, time out. You'll just up and leave? We already like you a lot dude! You can't just...go."
