Ash Ketchum who lives in Pallet town in the Kanto region completes his high school in KANTO HIGH. He is a nerd and a Pokemon trainer. He applied to KALOS UNIVERSITY and he got accepted.

Serena Yvonne who lives in Vanivalli city in Kalos region completes her high school in KALOS HIGH. She is a nerd and a performer. She applied to KALOS UNIVERSITY and got accepted.

        Ash and Serena both will have to move to dorms with their siblings because KALOS UNIVERSITY is in Lumious city

Ash's mom works in a bakery and she is planning to open her own bakery in Vanivalli city
Serena's mom is a professional Rhyhorn racer and currently she is a couch

Ash's father and Serena's father are no more but they both were best friends and both were Pokemon masters

Clemont and Gary are Ash's friends since 5th standard
