Obadiah sat on his bed.

The afternoon went well.

It was strange.

Very strange.

Guinevere touched him. She hugged him.

And he didn't want to peel his skin off.

He liked that.

She was upset. He didn't like that.

She was afraid of how he'd react. He was afraid of how he'd react, but with her, there was nothing to be afraid of.

She wouldn't hurt him. She was too kind to hurt him.

But he was afraid that he could've hurt her had the touch not been safe.

He thanked God for not letting his body react naturally. He could've seriously injured her.

He shook his head.

There was no need to think of what could've happened.

It didn't happen.

But something happened.

He felt it.

There wasn't an explanation for the something.

He didn't have the knowledge to put it into words, but he knew it was something.

It felt right.

It felt right, and Guinevere was a beautiful woman.

Special, somewhat strange, and finely made.

From her milky white skin to her fluffy onyx hair, she was a fine woman.

If her physical appearance was fine, he only wondered how much finer the inner workings of her sweet heart were.

She was genuine.

Genuine Guinevere.

He chuckled softly and lay his head on the pillow.

It'd been hours since he'd seen her, but she was still on his mind.

He could've been thinking of his success today with reading, something he was very proud of and grateful for, but for some reason, he thought of Guinevere.

It was okay.

She was a lovely thought to have.

His eyes closed and he fell asleep.

Three hours of dreamless sleep came to an end as a vicious nightmare crept in, filling the darkness in his mind with vivid memories and feelings.

Tears streamed down his face as he lay stuck to the bed, unable to wake up and end his terrors.

His body jerked as he tried to fight the pressure that kept him down.

Finally, as he cried, "G-god help me!" the visions slipped away and he could move.

But this was only the beginning.

"No," He cried out feeling entirely wrong.

He wanted to open his eyes, he wanted to keep his eyes shut forever, he wanted to bury himself, anything to end this terror.

It was never this bad.

He shook his head as he rocked back and forth, sobbing violently.

He was alone.

He was unprotected.

He was attacked in his sleep.

It felt like being a child all over again.
