this is kinda more of a uzi x reader (unrequested) but hope uou enjoy this. and dont worry.

i am currently updating and writing your guys' requests (and again pls rewrite them so ik what they are🙏) and the "love is a weird thing" (might change the title idk🤷) anyways i'll shut up now and let ya read:3

uzi quietly walked over to (y/n) as she slightly tapped them on the shoulder. (y/n) looks over to see the short purple drone and smiled.

"hey uz', do you need anything?" the disassembly drone asked softly

"u-uhm... well.." uzi hesitated to speak

(y/n) waited patiently to see what uzi had to say. they looked into her purple eyes with curiosity as she stared back at (y/n). they stay like that for a bit before uzi cleared her throat, or, idk whatever she has.

"n-nevermind.. i'll tell you later.."

"as in next year? because its new years soon"

"you celebrate that human stuff?" uzi looked at (y/n) dumbfounded

(y/n) hummed in response and nodded. they gave uzi a soft smile. visible blush marks appeared on uzi's screen and she huffed then walked away.

they looked back to where uzi walked off to and just shrugged their shoulders.

~lil time skip~

uzi paced around in her room thinking and panicking a bit.

'how am i gonna do this... it'll be a bit too late if i delay this... i want it to be perfect! right on the new years! but what if they say no.?'

uzi continued pacing around while (y/n) was setting up a chair on the top of the bunker, sitting on the chair and looking off to the distance.

they sigh and cross their legs. they then look down at a card in their hands and caress it a bit before sighing once more.

soon enough they put the card down on a small table that sat next to the chair. (y/n) looked back at the dark cloudy sky.

they continue to do this for a bit longer when uzi came up to them once more. she seemed nervous.

"hey uz', whats up?" (y/n) asked the shorter drone

uzi looked at them silently, blush marks became visible on her visor and she looked up at them. she took a deep breath before walking up to (y/n)

"(y/n)... i've.. i've got something to tell you..."

"yea what is is? you could tell me anything" they replied softly

again uzi took a deep breath and looked at (y/n).

"i.. (y/n) i like you... i have.. for a while now... i loved you and i didnt accept it till a bit ago... since we've met.. at the pod... i just... do, do you accept this confession..?" uzi looked at them nervously

(y/n) was silent, blush marks became visible on their screen too. they sighed and stood up.

"you.. dont like me back... do you..?" uzi said, clearly disappointed

(y/n) remained silent and walked over to uzi and bent down on one knee to reach her hight (yall pooks arent getting married yet im sorry😔) and put their hands on her shoulders

"i.. love you too uz'... even though you kinda blew my head off and hurt n a few times but.. i still forgive you." they smiled at her

uzi smiled back at them and embraced them with a hug. they stayed like that for a bit and uzi pulled away.

"i also have something planned for you too since you apparently celebrate this human holiday" uzi said as she pulled out a remote

she also pulled out a timer counting down the time for the new years. the timer was at 11:58pm

"you.. you did this for me..?" they asked, looking at uzi.

uzi hummed in response and smiled.

"and another question for you... will, will you be my partner...?" uzi asked. the timer was at 11:59pm

"of course..." (y/n) smiled

the two again embraced when the timer hit 12:00. fireworks started exploding jn the distance creating a beautiful view. the two smiled at each other and slowly brought their faces together.

soon, their lips met each other and they stayed like that.

guess this was a happy new years after all.
