Drive me crazy

Part 21

"Lando" I say softly when his phone rings for the umpteenth time. But he doesn't wake up, I give him a little push and then he wakes up. He looks at me sweetly and I smile back "Your phone is ringing" I say and Lando settles as he opens his phone "shit the race starts in an hour I have to go now" he says and put on his clothes and run out of my room. I really hope he doesn't have any problems.

A little later and together with Giel we walk towards Red Bull, he has been invited to watch the race there, but I have to walk a bit further. When I walk into McLaren someone comes up to me "you are Jade" Someone asks and I nod briefly "fine, I'm Jon, come with me to the garage" He says and I nod and walk with him I arrive at the garage and see Lando getting ready. You can see that he has only just woken up "So you were the one why Lando came late" Someone says and comes towards me "Uhm yes uhm sorry" I say softly and he laughs "No, it doesn't matter and it's not your fault." " He says and walks back

The race is in full swing and Lando is riding really well, he is now riding 4, I am super happy for him. During the race we chatted with Jon, he was really nice. "But how did you meet Lando" He then asks and I laugh briefly "Maybe you know Martin Garrix and yes I met Lando through him" I say and he nods "Well Lando is very different now in the positive so that is beautiful" He says and the last lap of the race starts. Lando is still fourth and also finishes fourth

Lando walks into the garage about fifteen minutes and gives his team a high five. And then he comes to me and pulls me into a hug and presses his lips to mine without anyone seeing "Hey" He says and I smile at him "You did great" I say and Lando shrugs his shoulders "I could do better." It went okay" He says and walk together to his drivers room. And Lando is there getting ready for the interviews. "Lando, I wanted to ask you something" I ask and Lando nods "there is a small after party and I would love it if you came along" I laugh briefly and Lando nods "You can bring people with you" I say and Lando nods "Well Then take Max and Carlos and their girlfriend with you if you mind." He says and I shake my head and grab a sweater from Lando. "Hey." He says and I grin and hide in the sweater. "Can I do something about that? This looks good on me" I say and turn around "It looks even nicer without it" Lando jokes and I roll my eyes. "You're not going to see that yet, Norris" I say and Lando raises his eyebrows "So there will come a day" He says and shrugs my shoulder and wants to walk away "Where are you going" He asks "To my brother, I have to go for it." I'll get ready later and come to the house later." I ask and he nods and kisses me goodbye.
