Kyoko still stood there, Nanami's forehead pressed against hers. He looked at her with so much love and care that she felt almost overwhelmed

"But I don't understand"

Kyoko said again

"You're my soulmate, dear"

' God..... Is there anyone who isn't my soulmate!? But ...... I am not complaining! I mean.... DADDY NANAMIN!"

"You did? Who is it?"

"I will finish the mission myself. She's not in her best condition now. I'll be moving in an hour or so"

The window nodded and left the room. Giving the new couple the privacy they need

"Do you want to sit down?"

He asked Kyoko, bringing her back to the world from whatever was going on in her mind

She nodded and sat down on the bed, he offered her a glass of water. She took it and gave him a grateful smile before slowly drinking it

"So you know me from before?"

Nanami asked, he had taken off his glasses and now was looking at her with his normal eyes

"H-hai, I... M-m-my p-papa s-showed m-me a picture o-of y-you"

"Your father? He knows me?"

"Do I know him?"

She nodded again

"Okay, first, tell me your name. Even though you know me, I am Nanami kento. A first grade sorcerer "

"M-m-my name is Ijichi k-kyoko. I am the new first year student in Tokyo jujutsu metropolitan college"

"Well what did he tell about me?"

He asked, trying to make her a little more comfortable around him. He could tell she was a little nervous and confused

' can't blame her, If I were her I  would be confused too'

He thought as he inwardly sighed

"W-well, it's usually how scary a-and scarily punctual you are ...."

Again, Nanami inwardly sighed

' why the fuck am I surprised!? I should have seen this coming! Good lord, I've gotta more patient towards ijichi from now on, he's gonna hate me for taking away his daughter '

" Well kyoko-chan, I am glad to have meet you. I've been waiting for a long time to meet you"

He said with a genuine smile, making her chuckle

"Yeah, I have too...... "

This is something he wanted for so long, so many years. Just to hear his soulmate say they waited for him too

"Have you found any of your other soulmates?"

Kyoko blinked when he asked her that

Nanami nodded, not caring much about it

"I remember the day after your 16th birthday, ijichi was super distracted. So we sat him down and he confessed you had 7 soulmarks. Which means 7 soulmates. "

Seeing kyoko's soul left her body, Nanami chuckled, shaking his head. He went to her pulling her closer towards him.

" I'll go do the mission. You get ready. We will go on a date.... If you don't mind ''

Kyoko looked up at him with shiny eyes, making his heart beat faster. She was truly beautiful

He gently kissed her on the lips and forehead before leaving for a mission.

Kyoko went to the bed and screamed in the pillow for a moment before sighing
