ONE MONTH LATER ABHAY'S PALACE, JAISALMER
Morning tiptoed in with a palette of pastels, painting the sky in delicate hues. The air, cool and crisp, carried the scent of dew-kissed grass. Sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a warm glow in her room.
Kashi lifted her eyes, graciously welcoming the dawn that carried a unique resonance within her heart today. A smile graced her face as her eyes landed on the rose and the accompanying note carefully placed beside her.
A rose, a note - every day and every morning. It's been a month since Kashi asked Abhay to keep his distance and this past month was enough to serve as a test of Abhay's patience, yet his devotion to her knows no bounds.
Admiring her at a distance, keeping a rose for her every single day in the morning. Smiling whenever she played with those flowers in the garden, worrying whenever she acted careless. Loving her yet maintaining a distance, became his cherished rituals over the past month.
Kashi gently grasped the rose, unfolding the note to read what's his message today. "Tadpaye mujhe teri sabhi baate, Ek baar ae deewani, Jhoota hi sahi pyar toh kar.. Mai bula nahi woh haseen mulaqaten, Bechen karke mujhko, Mujhse yu na.. pher nazar.."
Kashi smiled at his playful gestures, her attention drawing to a second note placed there. "Ahh.. two notes. What happened to him today." She said, picking up the second and opening it.
"CONGRATULATIONS JAAN!! A big congratulations on the completion of your first project today. You did great. I'm proud of you."
A soft gasp escaped Kashi as she read the note, her eyes welling with a mixture of gratitude and disbelief. A genuine smile played on her lips, and a warm sense of accomplishment enveloped her.
Their contract was completed today. To mark the project's success, the director organised a grand party tonight with Rajasthan's top businessman and more. Kashi was thrilled that her first project concluded so well. She quickly left the bed, keeping the note safely in a drawer and went to do her morning routine.
Abhay was getting ready in his room, when he heard the jingling sound of her anklets roaming around the surroundings. "It's been a month of yours tolerating me. How will you stay away from me, Hukum Ranisa." He smiled, doing his tie.
Kashi on the other hand was done with her morning things and was ascending to the hall. Upon reaching the hall, the sight left her surprised and happy. She found Vijay and Shalini sitting.
