"Can you believe that you're in highschool now ?" An excited TWELVE year old KAIZYA asked as she walked down the pathway with KEIRAN by her side.
The two were on their way to their first day of school. It was typical for the two to walk to school together being that their parents seen Keiran as Kaziya's protector but, things were kind of different this year due to them not going to the same school anymore.
Kaziya was in the 8th grade and would become a freshman the following year whilst Keiran was officially in his first year of highschool.
KEIRAN, now FOURTEEN, wasn't too excited to be going to the next year. Only because he'd still have to deal with how his mother treated him and the new people he'd come to encounter.
"It's just school." He simply shrugs when answering her question.
"No Kei ! Middle school is just school this is HIGH school. I hope it's like the movie that I watched." Kaziya responds keeping a tight grip on her book bag, hinting to the movie 'High School Musical'.
"I doubt it." He mutters, stopping in front of his old school where Kaziya attended, "Aight Zy, I'll meet you by the benches afta' school aight ?"
"Sir yes sir!" She jokingly confirms with a salute making him chuckle a little.
