WEDNESDAY'S... Sakari hated Wednesday's when it came to working at 'Jade's Beauty' because it was always busy with people who were getting themselves ready for the remainder of the week. A plethora of people and a plethora of styles.
Wednesday's also meant that she would have to not only sit at the receptionist desk but, also help the stylist with either setting the clients up at the wash bowl or at their stations.. The week always hectic.
"When I'm tellin' you that I'm so ready to get this hair done.. I mean it." Eliza, the customer who sat in the wash bowl as Sakari rinsed the remainder of the conditioner out of her head, spoke, "I got it done four days ago and my man already yanked it off. Good thing he payin' for it."
Eliza was one of the many customers who would come to get styled in Jade's Beauty. She always conversed with the people in the shop and never missed a beat to inform them about the man that she loved so dearly.
Sakari found it cute and admired the fact that someone she knew was tapping into their , what we would say, 'Soft Girl' era. It gave her hope.
"I'm already knowin' how that gets, girl !" Sakari says with a chuckle as she ran her fingers through the inches of 4C hair that sat in the bowl.
"Mhm and he payin' for it too ? Tuh, I couldn't ask for anythin' better. On my soul, I love me some him." Eliza's thick accent responds.
