After reading all those text messages, all I felt was sadness for adriana, I slowly handed her back her phone and looked up at her.
I was shocked to see that she had little to no emotion on her face.
'how are you not upset man?'
'yea well, life's a bitch but we move on right?'
'adriana your making zero sense right now. You treat your father like shit, he dies, you send him a very bloody sad message then act like nothings wrong?'
Narrators POV
Oakleys words were a little agressive. When he finished, adriana furrowed her eyebrows and looked at him in disbelief.
She let out a small laugh in disbelief and said.
'your kidding right?'
'what the fuck do you mean am I kidding?!'
'I knew it was a bad idea to tell you'
She mumbled and took her phone, getting up to leave.
She followed after her, grabbing onto her arm.
'adriana don't you dare'
'get the fuck off me'
'just talk to me'
Adriana spun around and walked up to him.
'do you know, how much I trusted you to tell you about this! And you reply with sympathy for that man?!'
'what the fuck is wrong with you?!!'
At the sudden shouting, adriana flinched.
'are you insane?! How can you talk about him like that after I read the most heartfelt message you sent him after he died?! Is he a good or bad man?!'
'why the fuck do you even care?!'
'because your confusing and scaring me!'
'you don't know the whole fucking story oakley!'
'then fucking tell me!'
'no.'
'fuck you mean no?'
'i trusted you..you don't even know what else I found out about him after he died. You can't simply just hear me out you have to scream at me..'
'i-.. Adriana wait-'
Adriana grabbed her car keys and went towards the front door.
'I just need to clear my head. I thought you at least would understand. I was clearly wrong.'
Adriana softly said as she shut the door, leaving oakley standing there. Confused. Upset..
