Shinji walked out the shelter he took cover in along side some UN soliders, he looked out into the distance and saw the angel still alive.
Unit 0 scorched and not moving.
The angel looked around but couldn't see unit 2 or 5, Kiryu was gone as well.
Suddenly the angel opened a massive jaw and in one bite it ate all of unit 0 leaving only its legs behind.
It's chewed and spit out unit 0s head.
In command center.
"Is it devouring the eva?" Ritsuko asked
"This can't be, the angels DNA is becoming identical to unit 0s" Ibiki added
The angel began to mutate slowly changing to form reis body but it kept its head.
Unit 2 stood up and auska gaped seeing what happened.
"I got to stop it" Auska said
But the power went out
Shinji got angry and ran towards a entrance of HQ.
The angel growled as it mutated, it looked at its newly formed human like hands and body.
"Unit 2 and unit 5 has exceeded there power limit" Ibiki said
"What about Kiryu?" Misato asked
"Unknown, we can't find it, chances are it was vaporized in the explosion" Ibiki said
The angel slowly turned to face the pyramid of Nerv.
"Quick activate central dogma self destruct, we are taking this thing with us" Misato said
"It won't activate, something is keeping us out" Makoto yelled.
They looked at each other realizing what that meant.
"Then that's it, we are done for" Misato said defeated
Shinji arrived at the hanger, on the cat walk infront of unit one. He looked above and saw his father in the observation labs looking down at him.
"What are you doing here?" He asked
"Im here to pilot unit 1" Shinni replied
"What makes you think I will allow you to pilot unit 1?" Gendo asked
"Im not asking, if you really want to stop me....shoot me" shinji said
Gendo said nothing but pressed a few buttons to give shinji a lift to access the entry plug. As shinji got into the entry plug gendo said something that surprised shinji.
"For whatever it's worth shinji.......I'm proud of you" gendo said
Shinji gasped at this, unit 1 turned to look at gendo.
"Im sorry yui, I failed you" gendo said
"Wait yui you mean....?" Shinji was cut off
"Closing the entry plug stand by" Gendo said typinga few buttons
The angel fired its beam and it blew up the pyramid. The blast vaporized the pyramid, shaking the entire facility
"All Above ground facilities have been annihilated!!!"
"Main shaft is completely exposed" Makoto shouted
The angel entered the main shaft alarms blurred all across what was left of Hq.
"Its heading down here, Evacuate non combatants" Misato said
"A full evacuation of non combats has been issued, all D class personal are to evacuate immediately I repeat...."
