Godzilla looked down at the main shaft and jumped in and unit 1 followed.

Gendo and Rei stood looking up at Lilith. It groaned hearing godzilla.
"Mr. Ikari.....I'm scared" Rei said
Gendo looked down at her
"Dont worry I'm here" he said
Rei couldn't help but smile.
"If this will make shinji feel happiness then it's worth it" She said
Gendo couldn't help but smile
The ceiling crashed down and godzilla stood alongside unit 1. He tooma few steps forward and looked up at Lilith.
Rei and gendo fell to the ground but got back up.
"Stupid......beast....you are not god.....I am god" Lilith spoke as if thousands of humans spoke at once.
"So it talks" Gendo said
Godzilla roared.
"You.....can't....kill god" Lilith said
Godzilla began to charge his atomic breathe one last time, his spines began tk glow blue then red then purple.
Unit 1 looked down at gendo and walked to him and sat down looking at them both.
"Yui......I hope you can forgive me one day in this life of r the next" gendo said looking up at Unit 1 until he looked down taking off his glasses.
"Forgivness" unit 1 said in a grunted voice nodded even smiled.
Gendo looked up and smiled too
Godzilla began to glow white his whole body bright as the sun.
"No....no...I can not be killed!!!" Lilith shouted
Finally a bright light filled the sky.
The vtols landed on the aircraft carrier taiho amd everyone on deck covered there eyes as the bright light faded a replaced with a massive blue sphere. They felt the Shockwave ans everyone was blow to the floor as a blue wave spread out.
Multiple blue walls went across the planet, the red waters became purified now going back to the original blue color, the Eva's were hit by the wave and they began to twitch eyes began to glow blue.
All across the planet the environment began to heal, the damaged caused by the second impact were reversed.
The blue wave ms began to fade and so did the explosion.
Everyone got back up.
Sailors looked over the edge and saw the clear blue water for the first time in 20 years.
"I want an observation team ready to move in 10 minutes, I want to see what that was" Misato ordered
Akane and shinji finally met up and kissed. Auska reached out and held shinjis hand.
"Take care of his ass for me will you akane" auska said
"Oh but I thought..." shinji was cut off
"Oh please you thought I was serious about the relationship thing, stupid shinji" auska said as she was pulled away to med bay.
10 minutes later.....
Misato shinji akane and 2 others were in a vtol hovering above of what was left of Japan, a massive crator split the main island in two, water filled the creator.
"Any sign of godzilla?" Misato said
"Oh there he rising" ibiki said
Everyone saw godzilla stepped put the water and stand at the rim of the crator.
"He's alive" misato said
"Multiple contacts!!!" Ibiki shouted
From the water dozens of eva units came out, walking towards godzilla. One eva had wings like an angel, another had sword and sheild, another grey one had a chain sword.
All slowly made there way to godzilla finally surrounding him.
Godzilla growled.
The Eva's all bowed, all going onto one knee and looking down. Everyone was shocked at this.
"Holy christ.....thank God he's on our side" Makoto said
"For now" misato said
The vtol began to turn and head back to the ship
Godzilla looked at the Eva's bowing and he let out a roar.
"SSSKKKKMRRRONNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKNNNNM!!!"
