Unexpected love

Chapter 18:

Dana's POV:
I don't know what's wrong with me. I can't help it, I think I'm in love with Julia. Ever since the day she kissed my cheek. I was her hero and saved her from Nick. I don't know what to do. Cole is my best friend and I would never steal his girlfriend, it's just I think I'm in love with Julia. She's just super cute and I can't stand it. Her laugh, her smile, her gorgeous face. What do I do?
Julia's POV:
"I'm sorry babe I need to go, Jill needs me at the studio to record some stuff. Bye, love you," Cole said and kissed my forehead. "Love you too, bye," I said. Cole left out the door. "Hey Dana want to hang out today? Cole's not here and the girls went home to see their parents." I asked Dana. "Sure, I'd love to," Dana replied smiling. "So what do you want to do you want to do?" I asked. "I don't know," Dana shrugged. "Let's make cupcakes," I said excited. "Yeah let's do that," Dana said excited too. Dana and I walked into the kitchen and I got the cupcake mix. "Ok, so get me two eggs, flour, and two sticks of butter," I said to Dana. Dana got me the stuff and I got a tea spoon, a measuring cup and some bowls. "Ok, we should wash our hands first," Dana said. "Good idea," I laughed and headed to the kitchen sink. We were washing our hands and Dana started splashing me. "Dana!" I laughed and splashed him back. He laughed stopped so we started making the cupcake mix. After we finished the cupcake mix, we poured it into the tray and put it in the oven. "We'll leave it in the oven for 15 minutes," I said. "Ok," Dana smiled. "Why are you smiling at me," I laughed. "I don't know, I'm just having a good time with you," Dana laughed. "Good, I am too," I said smiling. "When we are done making these do you want to come with me to drop some cupcakes off for the boys at the studio?" I asked. "Sure," Dana said.
After 15 mins:
I took them out of the oven and on to the kitchen table. Than I got two butter knives and went to the cabinet to get the frosting. "Hey Dana can you get the frosting? Some idiot put it on the top shelf." I asked and rolled my eyes. "Sure," Dana said laughing. He grabbed the frosting and gave it to me. "Thanks," I said. "No problem, Love," Dana replied. At first I froze when he called me 'Love'. Was he flirting with me. But then I smiled and shrugged it off. I brought the frosting to the table. I opened the lid and gave Dana a knife. We started to frost the cupcakes. After we finished frosting the cupcakes we headed into the car to go to the studio. It was pouring rain outside. Once we got there Dana grabbed the cupcakes and we got out of the car and went into the studio. I froze. I couldn't believe what I saw. Cole was kissing another girl. "WHAT THE HELL COLE!!" I screamed. Hot tears streamed down my face. Cole broke apart from the girl. "Julia I can explain-" I cut him off. "I thought you loved me," I cried, ripping off the necklace Cole got me threw it at him, "but I guess I wasn't good enough for you." "No, Jules, please, just let me explain," Cole begged. "Save it Cole, let's go Dana," I cried. I couldn't trust Cole anymore, no explanation he could come up with would make me forgive him. Dana and I left the studio. It was silent in the car, even Dana was shocked he did that. Once we got home I ran out of the car and straight to my room. I sobbed into my pillow. Why would he do that, he promised to love me. Ugh I hate him, I thought as I slowly cried myself to sleep.
Danas POV:
I can't believe this happened. David is going to be pissed at cole. David's with his friend so he can't comfort Julia so I have to. Julia stopped crying awhile ago, I think she fell asleep. I didn't know what to do when she was crying. She started cursing at herself and saying that she wasn't good enough. I felt really bad. I think I know what I'll do, I am going to get her favorite movies warm bodies, bench warmers, and land of the lost. I know that because I heard her talking about that with cole. I'm also going to get her some gummy bears and some vanilla ice cream.
Julia's POV:
I woke up and went to the bathroom to wash my face because I had mascara everywhere. After I walked into the kitchen to get water. I turned and Dana embraced me in a hug. He whispered, "I'm sorry about what happened with Cole. He's an idiot for letting you go." I managed a small laugh. Dana led me into the living room and I saw gummy bears, ice cream, and my favorite movies on the coffee table. "Wanna watch a movie?" He smirked. "This is amazing, thank you Dana. Of course I'll watch a movie with you," I smiled with a sniff. Dana put Benchwarmers into the DVR and sat down on the couch. I awkwardly sat on opposite side. The movie started to play and I laughed at the scene where Clark picks his nose. I turned to Dana but he was already staring at me smiling. I awkwardly smiled back and looked down at my fingers. Dana got up to get the gummy bears and when he sat back down he was right next to me. I smiled at him and focused on the movie. He tried to open the package of gummy bears quietly but it ended up being loud anyway. I laughed at his awkwardness and grabbed a gummy bear. All of a sudden, Dana yawned pretended to stretch and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. I smiled to myself. Oldest trick in the book, I thought. He pulled me in closer to him and I looked up at him. We both leaned in closer and suddenly our lips connected.
