Esmeralda was restless as she tossed and turned in her bed as she was recovering from last night's events. The strange aura that came from both the various Wraiths and their commander, Bernt, rendered the Dark Elven Princess into a state of unease and twisted nightmares. However, she was not infected by the Dark Venom, which Bernt could command. Yet it was like something within her was awakened upon encountering the power that was gifted to the twisted Mafia enforcer. However, nothing could be confirmed while the Princess remained in her coma. Having to watch all of this unfold was not easy for either Kathleen or Tyrik as they were unable to intervene. "You shouldn't worry, Tyrik. Esmeralda is one tough woman, for sure." Announced The Bull Demon Prince, "I have tangled with her before, and she does pack quite the punch." Red Son praised as he began to lean against a wall close to the worrying Draconian as he jumped in surprise.

"When did you learn to have quiet feet?!" Tyrik yelped while trying to calm himself from this little encounter, resulting in Red Son giving out a hardy laugh as he readjusted his glasses with a small grin. "Why is there a bounty on Esmeralda anyway?" Tyrik asked once he was calm, though it was clear that the reason behind the bounty was not for the faint of heart. Then Red Son's demeanor shifted dramatically, displaying that this was an unpleasant situation to speak about.

The Bull Demon took some time to formulate the best way to answer the question within his mind before letting out a dreadful sigh. "Most likely due to The Dark Elven Queen... Her mother is quite the vile bitch..." Red Son began as Tyrik grew a distaste towards the Queen, "To say that the Queen hates her daughter would not be accurate enough. Esmeralda is an only child and Raena had no problem telling her that she was lucky to be even born..." He finished as the bitterness seeped through his words.

"If I ever meet her, I am gonna make sure she gets a piece of my mind... Plus a beating." Tyrik declared with a monotone voice as his anger towards Queen Raena began to spark. Tyrik wasn't one to be hateful, but when he is towards someone. It isn't pretty for the one Tyrik's anger is directed to. He may be what would most be called "the nice guy", but Tyrik wasn't some pushover and one to easily forgive. However, Red Son gave a small chuckle as Tyrik said what he did. After all, the Draconian wouldn't be the only one who would want to put the Dark Elven Queen in her place. That is when Khonsu returned, fully calmed from his recent outburst of rage against Washta's ignorance.

"I apologize for my leave of apzence." Khonsu began while readjusting his shirt's collar and then handcuffs upon his sleeves, "Although, I would like to be informed on what you have dizcovered while I was taking time to calm my anger." He finished while placing his cane back onto the ground, raising an eyebrow in interest.

"Well... We were right regarding elements about there being a large Arcane Desposist within The Superstition Mountain Range. On top of that, the bounty on Esmeralda is more well known than you, Red Son, and Athena had suspected it to be too." Tyrik began to debrief the Elder Aker God regarding the events from last night. "We even ran into a Khnum, based on what I could tell from information I gathered..." He finished while turning sheepish regarding what he was able to recall with vague details. Khonsu took in the information and analyzed it with deep thought before Athena walked into the room. Quickly, The Olympian rushed over to Khonsu and informed him about what she had recently seen on The News Networks that had aired recently. The visible shock that came from The Traveler confused both Red Son and Tyrik as they shared a small glance before Tyrik spoke up with a single question, "Something wrong?"

Khonsu took some time to process the information before he responded. "Apparently we have other forcez making their movez as of late..." He began as it was clear that the Aker was trying to select his words carefully, "There waz an attack againzt one of The Ethereal Council'z agents of recent. But the attack waz carried out by a Cyporg of all thingz..." The Aker replied with clear confusion to the details that he spoke.

"A Cyborg? Like half man and half machine kind of cyborg?" Tyrik asked with the same level of confusion visible on his face. "I didn't think that level of technology would be possible already, even if Arcane Power is basically magical energy..." He finished while rubbing the back of his neck in shock.

"Neither did we... Frankly, it shouldn't be possible for Midgardians yet either." Red Son added while rubbing his chin in deep thought on this new information. To Tyrik's surprise, both Athena and Khonsu nodded in agreement. "Even with how effective Arcane can be as an energy resource for technology. It took even the best builders like the three Cyclops brothers, Brontes, Steropes, and Arges who created the Lighting Bolt for Zeus as well as the Dwarven twins Sindri and Brokkr who created Thor's hammer, Mjölnir, to understand how to safely use Arcane Crystals for these weapons." Red Son explained with even more questions arising than answers, "Cybernetics with the use of Arcane Energy is still a field which has yet to be explored by such talented crafter races between Dwarves and Giants. There are too many complications with Cybernetic Enhancements powered by Arcane with a body able to manipulate Mana." The Demon Prince added as his thoughts went further into this oddity.

Soon, the scene changes to the wastelands of Nuclear Desavation on the outskirts of The Chernobyl Powerplant as a pair of Elemental Monkeys made their way to ground zero of where it began. Thanks to Xi'Lang, both she and Macaque were able to venture to the ruins of Chernobyl without the risks of radiation poisoning. However, as the two elements came closer to ground zero. Odder the surroundings had gotten as the pair came across formations of crystals with bizarre energy emitting from them. It was clearly a form of Arcane but mangled by the nuclear destruction that surrounded them. These Crystals were very different from common forms of Arcane like Bifrost or Daou. 'This has to be the results of a mixture of Arcane and Nuclear energies...' Macaque thought to himself as he revealed his six ears, each glowing with their unique energy. Macaque closed his eyes and began to listen to the stories of the past with meditation. The world around him faded away as history began to play out like a radio show for him. He was taken back to the origin of the disaster, dating to April twenty-six of nineteen eighty-six. But as he tried to listen in on the past, Liuer Mihou's hearing was swiftly overwhelmed by a single voice of incredible power speaking only one phrase. "No spoilers, Shadow Monkey." The phrase came from a human wearing a suit of armor as he held onto a grimoire in his hands. The mere magical aura showed that it was gifting him with such levels of powerful dark magic. Dark Magic overwhelmed Liu'er's ears as Macaque screamed aloud due to pain caused by the stranger's voice alone. He gripped his ears as they bled in pain while falling onto the ground.

Xi'Lang swiftly rushed to Macaque's side to check on him. "What happened!?" The Water Monkey questioned as she used her magic to heal Liu’er as he continued to hold onto his ears. Macaque took quite some time to recover from what had just occurred to him. Gritting his teeth in rage towards the cheap trick that had just been used against him.

"Guess someone was expecting me to be here..." He spat as Xi'Lang was surprised by this information, "I can't use my hearing to determine what happened in the past. Gotta do this the old-fashioned way... We should stay on our toes from here on out, Xi'Lang. I doubt that this place is as empty as things seem." Liu’er remarked with a bitter tone as he snarled in rage. Yet, from what he could tell so far, no one was really around, as they grew closer to the power plant. Not even a cloaking spell was being used to hide the true nature of the destroyed city. Yet, who left these seals in the area to prevent him from learning what happened here? What are their plans? These were the questions that were plaguing Liu'er Mihou's mind as they left the area due to their search being a mere failure.
