" .... and a glass of wine please" As the waitress noted down your order, she flashed you a warm and friendly smile before gracefully making her way back.
As you sat alone at the fancy restaurant, your heart filled with a mix of emotions. You closed the menu, gently shifting it to the side, and rested your face in your hands.

In that moment, you couldn't help but feel a pang of loneliness. Your dear friend Eunhae, with whom you usually shared countless memories, was preoccupied with her group's upcoming concert.
Though you understood her commitments, you couldn't shake off the feeling of missing her presence.
However, you made a conscious decision to embrace this solitary moment and treat yourself to a luxurious dining experience.
Surrounded by elegant decor and the aroma of delectable cuisine, you reminded yourself that it's important to cherish and pamper yourself, even when you're alone.
"Fancy seeing you here, y/n" Startled by the familiar voice, you quickly turned your head towards the source, only to find Minji standing there.
"Can I sit here?" She asked, pointing at the empty seat opposite to you.
"Sure!" You replied, unable to say no to Minji's request. With a gentle and welcoming smile, you made room for her at the table.
Despite the underlying tension between, you wanted to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
As Minji settled into her seat, you couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and apprehension about what this unexpected encounter might bring.
"Actually, it was supposed to be a date but Jeonghan had practice so he couldn't make it." Minji says with this smug smile plastered on her face, like she's just won some secret competition that you didn't even know existed.
You squint your eyes in confusion.
It's kind of bizarre because there was no game or announcement to begin with. Her vibes give you this eerie feeling, sending chills down your spine.
But here's the kicker - you know for a fact that Jeonghan is actually hanging out with the rest of the members for their epic movie night.
So, why on earth would Minji be lying to you about him being her date?
It's definitely a head-scratcher. You can't help but wonder what her deal is. Maybe she's trying to impress you or make herself seem more important.

You eagerly wait for her to finish slicing and can't help but wonder what she's about to say.
"Do you like jeonghan?" You blinked and blinked and then blinked again and she was quick enough to understand so she continues.
"I mean you have known him since high school so do you both share a past?" Minji throws you off guard with a random question about Jeonghan.
You quickly collect yourself, not wanting to give away any clues about your true feelings. You're intrigued by Minji's sudden inquiry and wonder what she's planning or thinking.
You maintain your cool demeanour, ready to navigate the conversation.
"No. We weren't close." You avert your eyes to your food, trying to savour every bite deliciously but it leaves a salty taste on your tongue.
"That's great!" She claps her hand with the biggest smile on her face, startling you.
"don't get me wrong. I like him, I guess way too much than I should." She confesses.
"and I won't tolerate anyone coming in between." With a mischievous grin, she forcefully pokes her fork into her steak, almost as if she's issuing a warning.
It's as if she's declaring that she won't tolerate anyone coming between her and Jeonghan. In that moment, her demeanour takes on an almost psychopathic quality, as if she's crazily in love and fiercely protective of him.
It's understandable that this display might have scared you a bit, but you manage to hide your unease and maintain your composure.
You can't help but wonder what lies beneath her intense attachment to Jeonghan. Is it a simple crush or something deeper?
But that's a tale for you to ignore, you find yourself in a poignant situation. You can't help but reminisce about the beautiful moments you shared with Jeonghan in the past.
However, deep down, you know that those moments are just memories now and can never be recreated.
The pain in your heart is undeniable, but they try to cope by imagining Jeonghan with someone else, even though it only intensifies the hurt.
