Welcome back!👋🏽

Or, if you're new, welcome!❤️

I'm so so very excited to be back with Obadiah, book two of the Revelation 21:5 Collection.🤭

This story is a special one. I got the idea from a dream God gave me back in October as I was writing Anastasia. Thankfully, I was able to finish Anastasia with all of the love and excitement I began with before starting this.

Obadiah is about a man, Obadiah Quentin, who has kept himself away from people; hiding from physical contact. I can't explain much about his character, as his story will unfold throughout the pages.😌

The story will follow his life and the sudden changes that occur after meeting Guinevere Klein.

Guinevere Klein is a teacher, as well as a few other things. She's a headstrong woman with a settled mindset. Unlike Obadiah, she craves someone to love and be loved by, only her white skin and negro blood keep her from finding someone true.

I think this is the most I've shared about a story in a while...Thank God!🙌🏽

As always, this is an Age Gap, Christian, Interracial story.

The gap is nineteen(19) years.

Obadiah has Haphephobia (haf-uh-FOE-bee-uh) an intense, overwhelming fear of being touched. Just had to remind y'all🫣

As this is a slow burn, friends to lovers, touching will be very sparse. However, it won't be nonexistent! I am a physical touch lover, so...I can't write a story without it...🤭😉

I want to spill more about Obadiah himself, but that would give too much away.

I'm just excited y'all. As you can see, I can't get enough of writing. I went one week, not even a full one, after finishing Anastasia, and now I'm here again.🥳

I think this counts as book four-ish of 2023. Haven ended in 2023, Bliss happened, Anastasia, so maybe book three and a half.🤔

I can't give an update schedule, as God heads that department, but I can say that I'll try to do at least two a week. No promises!

Once again, I'm very excited about this story.😆

I don't even mind that it's a slow burn. The build-up is always nice to write and see comments about it! The anticipation is always real!🤭

Oh, it's a historical fiction! Set sometime in the 1800s, I'm not sure exactly when, but there will be some prejudice and unfortunate racist poops. We don't like them here.👊🏽

I can't stop saying that I'm excited. I really am.

Obadiah's story is special and I can't wait for you all to see how his life is made new, past experiences included.

When God makes things new, I don't think He leaves a stone unturned. Anastasia was a lovely entry to understanding that. It paved the way for Obadiah's story!

It's not a soft story, though it'll be sweet. Obadiah's life hasn't been easy. He is illiterate. Yet, his faith in God helps ground him.

I'm telling y'all, this is a special story, it showcases the ways God settles people. When people cry out to God, they don't do it just to cry. They do it because He hears and helps. He saves.

And He makes all things new🤍

I could go on and share more about the story, but I won't. I shouldn't.🤫

Please do enjoy the imagery.

In the dream, I got a good look at Obadiah, but when I searched Pinterest up and down, I couldn't find one man who even favored him slightly.

He does have imagery, but it's still not exact. I'm excited about the first unconventionally attractive male lead. He is not handsome, hot, fine, etc. He is average. And yet, he is the finest of them all as we all dive deep into his story.

In all of my stories, you'll find a recurring theme.

Heart over all else.

Character over charm.

Yes, I've used handsome and beautiful faces for my characters, but at the end of the day, the content of their heart is what draws them to each other.

I am so excited to share Obadiah with you all.

Enjoy!
