It's probably not the right time to realize
How I've been ignoring this situation's size ,
Hiding behind the curtains of my ego ,
I was blind to the many times to my attitude you said no ;
You tried to make the bandages clear to view
But all I wanted to see was nothing new ,
Just what we've always been used to ...
Though I figured out it hadn't always been as obvious to you ...
I hope to someday be able to fix my mistakes
If you'd let me to , even if I know you'll still need some space .
