My heart can be red , full of courage
My heart can be blue , sad to the bone
My heart can be black , cold as a stone
My heart can be white , empty of rage
My heart can be yellow , happy on its own
My heart can be green , wise on a throne
My heart can be orange , strong enough to escape out of the cage ...
My heart can as well be gray , numb without a reason that is to be shown .
A whole set of colors and emotions either sharp as a hone
Or soft as poetry page ...
I wrote this poem based on a challenge in Sohinigoswami 's book "Recreating life" which consisted on using 8 different colors in a poem .
