"Is vacation really that short, can't it be more longer than two days." Riley complained, as she sat at the bay window as Maya came in
"Eh, I wasn't doing anything anyway." Maya said as she went in
"Maya, you hung out with me the whole two days." Riley pointed ou
"Yeah, and you weren't up to anything." Maya sat down
"She can't just leave me like that!!"
"Huh?" The two were startled, by the shout and stomps outside Riley's room
They immediately went out the room. And what they saw, surprised them even more.
"Auggie!" Riley ran to her little brother
"What's the matter buddy?" Riley carried him to sit on the bed
He had a furious yet miserable face "Ava, s-she left and gave me this n-note." Auggie stuttered as he handed the note out
Riley and Maya read it, though the wrong spellings and bad grammar, they understood what was happening.
"Auggie, how old are you." Maya said, not asking, and Auggie held out his hands and counted to 6 "Okay, and how old is Ava?" Maya said again, and Auggie held out 7
"Where are you going with this?" Riley whispered asking her best friend
Maya ignored the question and looked back to Auggie.
"Auggie, look, you're still a young little boy. Ava is as well, but maybe there are just some things we have to let go of because something better will come." Maya told Auggie
Auggie nodded, he hugged Maya for a sec "I'm glad you're my sister's best friend." Auggie sniffed, and Riley and Maya headed out
"When did you came my father all of a sudattentiony teased jokingly
"I will never." Maya pointed out "I just know how Auggie feels."
"You're talking about my uncle Josh, aren't you." Riley said, as she and Maya took their bags
"I decided to let Josh go, he may seem perfect, but I know there are other perfect ones in my eyes." Maya explained, but Riley find her explanation more of a tough puzzle

"Okay class, we got a new student today, and he's Mr. Gabriel Duncan." Cory aka Mr. Matthews introduced the student to the class
"Just call me Gabe." His husky deep voice caught Maya's attenttion
"Take a seat Gabe." Cory gestured to sit on the empty seat next to Maya's left
Maya turned to him, and he turned to her. And their eyes met, making each other smirk. Cory started to discuss , so they turned away.
"I think I know her, anyway, she's gorgeous." Gabe thought, scanning Maya from his seat
"Boing." Maya thought, as she bit her lip, thinking of Gabe
Cory continued on with the discussion, and made everyone do homework, then dismissed the class.
Everyone went out the room, and headed their separate ways.
"Riley." Lucas called out, walking up to her
"Hi Lucas." Riley smiled, as she felt her heart melt looking at 'The Freak' as Farkle would call it
Maya rolled her eyes, shaking her head at them as she went through her locker.
"Problem, PANCAKE?" Lucas teased, making Maya glare at him
"Nothing Ranger Rick." Maya just rolled her eyes, continuing to close her locker
Gabe looked around as he went out the classroom, he was looking for Maya, although he doesn't remember her name just the memory of him with her before. He took the sight of her, and he saw her standing by the lockers with Riley, Lucas, and Farkle. He then walked over to her from behind.
"Hey." Gabe caught Maya's attention, and she turned to him
"Hi." Now that Maya got a better look at him, she can tell he seems familiar
"I don't know how to say this, but I believe I've met you before." Gabe scratched his neck, feeling a bit awkward in starting the conversation that way
"I just thought the same thing." Maya told him, trying to recognize or recall his face
Riley and Lucas, looked at them, and you can read their faces saying that Maya and Gabe will get along very WELL.
Maya and Gabe thought hard and deep. Then it hit them.
"My Mom's Audition!" Their face lit up, as they said it in unison
"You were the kid who threw that jelly donut at me." Gabe chuckled
"Yeah, and you did too." Maya smiled, nodding
Then they both started to laugh.
"What are you doing here in New York?" Maya asked him
"My parents decided to move here, since my older sister will be studying at NYU." Gabe leaned on the lockers, as he talked
"Aren't you guys from Denver?" Maya questioned
"Yeah, but my Dad decided we have a new start here in New York. He said it was a good way to expand his business." Gabe explained
"That's cool." Maya grinned
"Hey Maya, we're up to get lunch. You comin'?" Riley disrupted the conversation
"Yeah." Maya turned to Gabe "Wanna join us, Gabe?"
" Can I?" Gabe asked the other three
"Yeah, no problem." Lucas nodded, as he placed his hand over Riley's shoulders
Maya smiled at him, as they walked towards the cafeteria.
"I can see something different with you." Riley whispered to Maya, as they walked in line
"What do you mean?" Maya questioned, as she payed for her food
"You like Gabe." Riley pointed out, as she paid for hers
"Well I'll be honest, that I DID like him way back your Uncle Boing." Maya said casually
"Why didn't I know that?" Riley questioned
"I don't tell you everything." Maya said, as she sat down beside Gabe and across Riley
"So Gabe, where do you live?" Farkle asked
"In an apartment at Greenwich Village." Gabe answered
"I live there as well." Riley told him "You must've moved to the Morganstern's old place."
"Yeah, quite big for a small building." Gabe nodded
Their conversation went on, till they all finished their lunches or so.
"Gabe, we can tell you seem like a nice guy. But, tell us something about yourself." Lucas said as he took the last spoonful of his food
"Oh, I'm no good guy. I do pranks all over the neighborhood for enjoyment, the only good thing I've done is buy my little sister a dollhouse for Christmas." Gabe said in between chewing his food
"That was a good introduction now, was it." Riley chuckled
"Well you're a lot like Maya then, she gets in trouble a whole LOT." Lucas told Gabe "She's a heck of a rebel."
"You got a problem with that Bucky McBoingBoing?" Maya questioned, furrowing her eyebrows at him
"I find that pretty fierce for girls to be rebels." Gabe smirked at Maya
"Do you have a girlfriend then? Pretty much a lot of girls would've liked a bad boy." Farkle asked, Maya glared at him but Farkle ignored her
"Well, I used to date a girl. Till I felt a little uneasy with her at some point, so we broke up." Gabe sighed
"That's sad. I know I won't feel uneasy with Maya and Riley anytime soon, but if I will I know I'll get through it. Do you think you'll feel the same when you see her again? And your emotions will rekindle?" Farkle said in a fast way
Maya took a spoon, and threw it to Farkle, hitting him right on the nose.
"Do you never miss?!" Farkle complained, Maya gave him a wide eyed glare
"Be glad I didn't use a fork." Maya said, Riley looked shocked and had her most surprised face
Gabe laughed at what just happened. Then on cue, the bell rang. Everyone off to the rest of their classes

Classes were over, and they decided to stop by TOPANGA's for a sec. Everyone sat down and just chit-chatted.
"Teddy?" Gabe said confused, seeing her older sister working behind the counter
"Oh hey Gabe." Teddy sighed, seeming so tired
"What are you doing here?" Gabe questioned
"I work here for the meantime." Teddy answered, fixing her hair
"Hey, new here?" Maya disrupted the conversation
"Yeah, I am." Teddy nodded, accidentally putting cinammon on the coffee instead of sugar
"Uhm, that's cinnamon your shaking." Maya told Teddy, making Teddy jump a bit "Anyway, my mom, Katy, she in there?"
"Yeah, go 'head." Teddy pointed to the room at the back
Maya walked in, as Gabe stared at her
"Ooh." Teddy grinned widely at Gabe, as she served Lucas, Riley, and Farkle the coffee
"What?" Gabe rolled his eyes, knowing where this is going
"You like her, don't you." She said ever so cheekily
"Ugh. So?" Gabe scoffed
"My brother's all grown up." Teddy said hugging him
"I'm 14." Gabe said backing away "AFFECTION! PLEASE!"
Teddy let go and rolled her eyes at him. The other three then took a sip of the coffee. Then they all spitted it out quickly.
