"Mate, he's definitely got a thing for you!" Fran grins after reading the texts Millie showed her.

Amelia rolls her eyes, "I think he's just tying to be nice Fran."

"No, trust me. Definitely got a thing for you. Charles says he brings you up all the time, he's basically asking you on a date at this point!" She teases, nudging her best friend playfully.

"He's asking for cooking lessons. Not a date." Millie chuckles.

"Definitely a date. Dinner date at that. So are you going to take him up on the offer?" Fran raises her brow playfully, handing back Amelia's phone.

Millie shrugs, "I don't know, you know what George is like."

"Fuck George. What's the worst that can happen?" Fran grins as she grabs Millie's phone, hurriedly writing out a text and clicking send.

"Fran what have you done?!" Millie exclaims, half angry, half amused. 

Fran flashes her friend an innocent smile. "What you wouldn't, you'll thank me for this one day."
