A few months passed and you have been healing... You had your neck wrapped.. the emperor have been making you stand right next to him while he works.. You were so tense to the point that you had to stand back but he would call you to stand right next to him again
One day you saw an expensive looking chair right next to him you stood behind the chair, however he pulled the chair and told her to sit and that is the story of how you became a worker for free
A few times you would try to visit Diana's daughter but if Claude heard of it, you would be dragged back onto Claude's palace and he would force you to stay thus your vacation day would be stolen away from you

Day passed and your neck fully healed, you took off the the bandages and it revealed and scared looking neck, you dighed thinking this will probably take forever to heal even thought it wasn't noticeable but it was still there
That same night you were getting ready to go to bed and as you got to bed and was getting comfy to sleep you turned to your side.. Suddenly you felt a rush of air and the bed got lower from behind you, you looked behind you with a confused look before sighing in disappointment
"what brought you to my room tonight your majesty" you said rubbing your eyes
"shh" he said covering your mouth with one finger, you looked at his finger before opening your mouth trying to bite it but your prey was faster than you he snatched his hand away "sometimes I think you are the reincarnation of some sort of predator" he said glaring at you then checking if his finger was hurt
"you shouldn't put your hand on a woman's mouth" you said to him as if you were teaching him
"why the concubines liked it when I covered their mouth and.." he said but you spoke loudly with a red face
"I didn't want to know that you majesty" you said looking at him "shameless bastard" you whispered to yourself
"you said something?" he said with a smirk
"Nothing that concerns you your majesty" you said with a smile while biting your tongue
You were now back to silence and you decided to break it
"excuse me your majesty but are you just gonna stare a-" he spoke before you continued
"it left a scar" he said his voice almost sounded as if it was breaking as he reached out to your neck touching the scaring left from his sword
"it is nothing your majesty I am pretty sure it won't be there for long" you said trying to comfort him 'really what did you expect when you cut me up like rabbit head' you thought to yourself but then again you looked at him and your heart and eyes softened
"I hurt you.." he said taking you in a bone crushing hug "I hurt you" he kept saying that until he eventually fell asleep you sighed before tucking him in your bed and getting on the rusty couch you got when your maid grade got higher
You woke up the next day on your bed with him next to you holding onto you like a child holding onto his mom you just sighed and struggled to get out of his embrass
Sometime passed and the days turned to weeks then into months then it turned into years and during all of that the emperor would appear out of no where in your room and you started leaving him his own blanket and pillow to use if he came when you were asleep

One day when you were walking with the emperor, Felix was on your side walking next to you and for some reason you had mixed feeling bad and good
The emperor walked like a robot in the morning not like the affectionate emperor that comes to your room every night... Not the emperor that would mumble about his nightmares to you all night long and make you comfort him
While walking you saw a small figure biting a gold statue... She stood fiercely before nodding as if she made a discovery.. It almost made you giggle but you swallowed your giggle
Then you noticed her eye color it was blue and jeweled, it made you confused since the ruby palace or whatever it was called was far from here how did this little girl get here by herself you looked around to see if someone was with her but the what the emperor said made you freeze
"what is this filthy bug doing in my palace" he said harshly he wasn't gentle or quiet but plain harsh the little girl looked horrified and she turned to look at him as a pouche filled with coins and jewels fell from her skirt, the jewels rolled on the ground, you looked at her with pity while Felix looked at her with worry
"that face, I have seen it before" Claude continued with his eyes narrowed and if you didn't know better you would have thought he was disgusted, the girl became even more horrified
"was it that dance from siodonna?" he asked as you looked at his back then looked at the horrified short girl
"you look like that wench" he continued
'wench who are you calling a wench you egg head' you thought glaring at him but stopped when Felix nudged you
"then again it doesn't matter who she came from"
"your majesty" both you and Felix said together but both in different tones but the said majesty didn't care about you two
"and I think I remember what that wench named you. I believe it was athanasia" he said with malice in his voice the little girl started shaking and her eyes were wide "back then you were but a tiny bug that couldn't even lift it's head" he continued as you looked at him in disbelief you were ready to jump infront of him again but Felix held you back before you could move
"at first I found it amusing I wandered how long this thing would live according to it's name" he continued he looked like a psychopath, the girl took a step back afraid of him a small peace of ruby rolled next to the emperor's leg as he smached the girl had her cheeks puffed as she looked scared and nervous the emperor then reached out to her and pick her up
"you are heavy" he said
'the hell did he just say to a five year this is not a good age to build up her insecurities, you bully' you looked at him with fire in you eye you were glaring at him
"you have really chubby cheeks but I didn't expect you to be this heavy" her eyes widened as she looked surprised while you looked at him with your mouth slightly opened
"now what are you doing in my palace" he continued and the girl looked she had realization slap her in the face
