After you four had gotten back from visiting apple island, getting some of the wonderful fruit as well, your sister had went back home while you had decided to stay a bit longer on land. It was a rather nice day, and you had no reason to hurry home.
Most of the day was spent on the island, you were practicing your magic most of the time or simply relaxed with R.J. Without knowing it you had fallen asleep on him, but he didn't bother you, after all he wouldn't be surprised if you were up all night reading prior to seeing Uomi.
Once you woke up you found your head resting in his lap, he had moved you so you could be more comfortable, with a yawn you sat up. "You really should have just stayed home (Name)..." He didn't want you to over do it, this you knew, but you have a habit of forgetting to take care of yourself at times. "I know...I know, but I couldn't stay home all day. It gets dull there ..." You smiled, still half asleep, but he could help but worry about you. Even you have your moments when you're a bit too careless. He feared that one day it would lead to something happening and he wouldn't be able to help you.
"Are you ready to head back?" He offered you a hand as he stood up. "Yeah.." He sighed before crouching. "Hop on, you're still not fully awake." You knew better than to argue with him when he's like this, it's either get on willingly or you become a sack of potatoes. Once you were on he slowly stood up, making sure that you wouldn't fall. "Ready?" He asked, feeling you nod your head in response, he began to make his way off the island.
At times like this it would remind him that, even though you hate it, you still need some someone to be sure that you are alright-someone to lean on.
*◇*◇Flashback◇*◇*
You were only around (two or three years younger than your current age) your sister was playing with some of the other children while you sat back to study, you never really liked playing with others. Every now and then you would join but you didn't really see a point to it, you had to learn as much as you can so that you can get it over and done with so later in life you could relax.
"Hey..." You looked up to see a small dolphin in front of you. "Why are you alone?" "I don't know." You said with a shrug. "Can I hang out with you? It must be hard being alone..." You nodded, averting your gaze so he would see that he was right. Sure you didn't like being social like Wadanohara, even when you had tried most of the others just ignored you. At times you wondered why you still tried to make friends, it was obvious that they preferred your sister...
"Hey are you okay?" You didn't notice how close the little guy had gotten to you, once you did you almost fell back in surprise. "Y-yeah, I'm fine..." He frowned before nuzzling your cheek. "Or at least you will be." He finished for you. "My name is R.J, and you?" "(Name)."

Since that day the two of you became friends, he has seen you at your worst and at your best, he noticed how much you've changed since then, and he wondered just how much you would continue to surprise him. He would be lying if he said that his feelings for you exceeded friendship, but he would keep quiet if it meant that you were happy.
