Gummy bears.

That was what Zuri had requested for last night, and she was going to get it. The length I would go just to make sure Zuri had what she wanted or needed was a bit unreal, and so I wasn't surprised when I woke up, freshened up, and immediately bolted out the door and got into my car just to get her gummy bears.

She was still asleep at the time I was leaving the house, but she would probably be up by now. I hadn't been able to get our escapade of last night out of my head, and I was wondering how she would feel about everything when she woke up. Not filled with regret, I hoped.

Zuri was one of the curviest people I knew, and I'd always thought that whoever got to touch her body had to do so with care. She had a smaller waist in comparison to her wide hips. Her breasts were big, and so was her ass. The memory of her breasts bouncing underneath her dress flashed in my head, and I reflexively bit my lower lip. The small beads of sweat on her forehead and her sloppy smile in the end-

I had to stop myself here.

"Lee?" I heard Zuri call from the kitchen and I smiled to myself. Walking into the kitchen, I saw her standing by the refrigerator. She was dressed in a silk night robe and her hair was pulled up in a bun. "Where'd you go?"

I lifted two packets of gummy bears in front of me, a smile on my face, "Gummy bears?"

"You remembered," she chuckled as she reached for them.

"I did," I nodded, moving to the high stool to take a seat.

"I thought... I don't know... last night. I- I thought you left or something-"

"I live here, Zuri," I threw my head back, laughing.

"Thank you," she clutched the packet of candy to herself while I took a seat on the high stool. My eyes didn't leave herself, and I swallowed, "Do you want to talk about last night?"

"Last night was great," she had a smile on her face, and she sat on the high stool facing me. "I didn't think it would be that good."

"So, you don't regret it," I asked slowly.

"Of course not," she chuckled. "I was drunk last night, but not enough to not be aware of what was happening. I wanted it, and I wanted it with you."

"I've told you, Luna, I don't want to talk," I sighed and closed my eyes in frustration.

My phone wouldn't stop ringing, and it annoyed me. Luna wouldn't stop calling or texting.

"Bailey, please," she said quickly as thought she knew I was ready to hang up. "Can't we talk about it? Please?"

"I don't want to," I sighed again. "There's nothing to talk about. I was there for a year only because of how much I was into you, but you did me dirty. What else is there to talk about?"

"I just want to explain a few things, but I can't do it if you're not willing to listen to me."

"Yeah, because why should I be? You knew what you were doing, Luna, and honestly, I don't want to hear anything from you-"

"I miss you, Bailey," she said softly. "I miss you so much, and I want to be with you-"

"You don't," I interrupted. "You miss what I had to offer. Not me."

"That's not true," she countered. "I'm sorry, Bailey. I'm so sorry."

"Yeah, it's okay. I know you are, but if apologies could fix everything, then there wouldn't be a need for the law and police, right?"
