"Commander Jax! We have tanks coming in!" Blaze yelled, "We need air support!"

"Copy." Jax replied, pulling out his hologram projector, "Hook, Corsair Squadron, report!"

Static crackled through Jax's comlink for a moment before a voice responded. "This is Hook. We read you loud and clear, Commander. Corsair Squadron reporting in."

Jax breathed a sigh of relief. "Good to hear, Hook. I need you to provide air support for our ground troops. We've got droids closing in fast, and we could use all the help we can get."

"Copy that, Commander," Hook replied. "We're on our way. ETA two minutes."

Jax nodded, his eyes scanning the battlefield as he continued to issue commands to his troops. Kira stood at his side, her lightsaber at the ready, as she watched the approaching droids with a sense of grim determination.

As the seconds ticked by, the tension on the battlefield grew palpable. But just as Jax was about to order his troops to charge, the roar of engines filled the air as Corsair Squadron swooped in, raining down a hail of laser fire on the droids below.

Jax grinned as he watched the droids scatter under the assault. "That's what I'm talking about," he said, his voice filled with satisfaction. "Nice work, Corsair Squadron."

Kira nodded in agreement, a fierce sense of determination burning in her eyes. "Let's finish this," she said, her voice ringing out clear and strong above the chaos of the battle.

With a nod from Jax, the 45th Elite Legion charged forward, their blasters and lightsabers blazing as they fought to drive back the droid army once and for all. And as the battle raged on, Jax and Kira fought side by side, their bond as strong as ever as they faced down the enemy together.

Jax couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration as he watched Kira in action. Her movements were fluid and precise, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride knowing that she was one of the Jedi he had been tasked with protecting.

But as their eyes met, Jax quickly looked away, not wanting to make things awkward between them. He had a job to do, and as the battle raged on, he remained focused on leading his troops to victory.

It wasn't until the last droid had been destroyed and the battlefield was quiet once again that Jax allowed himself to relax. He looked over at Kira, who was catching her breath, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips.

"Nice work out there," Jax said, his voice filled with admiration. "You're a natural on the battlefield."

Kira grinned at him, her eyes shining with pride. "Thanks, Jax. I couldn't have done it without your leadership and the bravery of your troops."

Jax smiled back at her, feeling a sense of warmth spread through him. Despite the danger they had faced, he couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness being in Kira's company. As the two of them stood there, surrounded by the wreckage of battle, Jax couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. But for now, he was content to bask in the afterglow of victory, knowing that he had done his duty and protected those he cared about most.

Still in Commander mode, "Corsair Squadron, do one last patrol before landing," Jax ordered as he walked back toward Kira.

The pilots of Corsair Squadron acknowledged Jax's orders and their ships flew off into the distance to complete their final patrol. Jax turned to Kira and spoke with a hint of exhaustion in his voice.

"That was a tough battle, but we made it through," Jax said. "Your skills with a lightsaber were impressive, as always."

Kira smiled at Jax, feeling a sense of warmth spread through her. "Thank you, Jax. I couldn't have done it without your leadership and the bravery of your troops."

Jax's face flushed with pride at Kira's words. He had always felt a sense of duty to protect the Jedi and those he had been tasked to serve alongside. But with Kira, it was different. He felt a sense of admiration and affection for her that he had never felt before.

As the two of them stood there, surrounded by the wreckage of battle, Jax couldn't help but feel a sense of uncertainty. He knew that as a clone trooper, his life was predetermined by the Republic, and he wondered what would happen to him once the war was over. But with Kira by his side, he felt a sense of hope and purpose.

As Corsair Squadron returned, Jax turned to Kira and said, "Let's get out of here. I could use a drink."

Kira nodded, and the two of them headed back to their base, ready to celebrate their hard-won victory and enjoy each other's company.
