Audrey's Pov:

The sun began to break through the trees when I realized I had fallen asleep in the forgotten house. I sat up, blocking my eyes from the sunlight. I stretched my back slightly, hearing the popping it always made in the morning. I rubbed my face roughly; last nights events coming to the front of my mind. Well, actually, everythign that happened in the last twenty-four hours.

'Why couldn't it had just been a dream?' I screamed to myself. The sound of faint footsteps came behind me. As much I wished they were Hollands', I knew they weren't.

"Mom's worried about you, you know." I heard Autumn's familiar voice say from behind me. I closed my eyes and clicked my tongue on the roof of my mouth before I faced her, staring at my younger sister who was in fact still in her pj's, slippers and all. She looked exhausted with her hair in a messy bun and her cell phone in her hand. I glared at her for a moment before turning to face the rising sun in the distance.

"How did you even know where I was?" I questioned as I felt the wood move as she took a seat next to me. I ran my hands through my knotted hair, trying to salvage the unruly mane. Giving up, I pulled my good knee up, laying my elbow over it.

"I've known that you've come here for a month now." She admitted, not without earning an eye roll from me, "Don't get mad, but Rylee and I followed you here one night just to make sure you were alright." She said with a sly smile on her face. I looked at her with a blank face, her smile dropping. She cleared her throat as she spoke again, "So, what are you going to do about the Holland situation?" I took in a breath, letting it out slowly as I focused my attention on the birds that flew around.

"Honestly?" I asked as I looked at her;  she rolled her eyes. "I don't know." Was all I said as I turned my head back around.

"Can I say my opinion on it?" She questioned me. I didn't bother to glance back at her, shrugging my shoulders. "I don't think it would be a good idea if you saw her anymore." I didn't say anything resting my chin on the arm that rested over my knee. "Mom thinks so too." I rolled my head to look at her.

"Why is it even your business?" I asked her simply, causing her to return with a frown.

"You said I could give you my opinion," She said with furrowed brows. I sucked in a sharp breath, turning my head back to the front of the destroyed wall. "It may not be our business in your eyes, but sadly we're the only family you have, Audrey." I clenched my jaw, "We just don't want to see you get hurt anymore, wither it be physical of mentally."

"I know you care, but I'm not a child anymore. So, can you just leave me alone about the subject?" I pleaded, wishing that I was alone. Why was it so hard to find some peace in my life? Was I such a horrible person that I deserved this kind of punishment?

"You know," She started with a crude tone. "You bitched me out for not coming to you with my personal problems or whatever was bugging me." I was taken back by the harsh tone, "Yet you sit there and really have the audacity to tell me to leave you alone? Do you not see that we're only concerned?" She asked as she turned towards me completely.

"I get you're concerned," I spoke softly, "But hovering me isn't helping anything." I could see her out of the corner of my eye, but I remained in the position I was in.

"You almost died you a-asshole!" She stammered, struggling to get the words out. My eyes widened, but I still refused to look at her. I was scared I wouldn't be able to compose myself.
