Chapter 25

We were done getting the house ready for the festival and it was starting In 10 minutes

We are supposed to be in all white so I wore a white short and a white jacket with a white crop top.

I opened my work bag and saw the file from Aryans office,I will read it later.

I went down stairs,the crowd was huge,with neighbors, family, friends and so many more.We all went outside for the festival as it began

I took a handful of pink powder and went to Aditya,I saw Malini putting powder on his face and heartbroken, I  turned around trying to hold back the tears

I saw Aryan colour less and I put pink on his shirt..."happy holi"I say

"Happy holi"he says putting a handful of blue on me

"Oh you want to fight"I say taking orange and throwing it at him and he dodges it.

"Okay"he says taking pink. I run off and he chases after me

I run and run and he catches me and puts it on my face and I laugh

I bump into someone and turn to see Aditya

"Waw,you said I will put colour on you first"he says

"You said the exact same thing"I say gesturing to his face with pink

"At Least I don't mess around with fools like him"he says pointing at Aryan

"Watch your tone,I'm still your boss"Aryans says

"Yes sir"he says looking at me

"It's not like your any better,your literally married to Malini "

"Maybe I will make that official so you eat those words"he says and leaves

I just left the celebration and went to my room to rest my head

After a 7 hour nap I went down stairs and saw decorations everywhere.

"What's going on"I say to Viviane

"We are decorating for Aditya's engagement"Viviane says sadly

"What?"I say as my heart sinks

"He forced us,I told him that you too are ment for each other"she says sadly

I look around and my eyes land on Aditya. I walked over to him

"What the hell"I say to him

"You told me to marry Malini didn't you"he says

"I take it back,now stop this"I say

"Well too late I'm already getting engaged"he says

"Please be serious Aditya"I say

"I want you to know the importance of our relationship"he says

"I already know it, but you don't"I say

"Oh really"he says

"Yes,if you knew the importance you would trust me blindly"I say

"I did, until you shoot Malini"he says

"I'm telling you,I didn't shoot her,trust me"I say

"Well I can't trust you, anymore"he says

"So cause you can't trust me, you go get engaged to Malini"I say angrily

"No,I just,forget it"he says leaving

Aditya called me to come down stairs as the engagement began. He put the ring in Malini hand and I couldn't take it the little food I eat came back out.but not in front of everyone,I was in the hallway and it was empty.
