Chapter 10

I step my feet on the nice warm beach sand. Going to the beach was the last thing on family fun day.

I sat down on my beach chair under my umbrella as my skin gets slightly tanned by the sun

"Hey Imlie wanna swim"Rupati says

"Em I can't swim"I say

"Really,I'll teach you"she says as she drags me from my seat into the cold ocean water

The water was on my knee level so I didn't have to swim until Rupati pulled me deeper

"Okay,now first thing you have to know the water will pull you
up"Rupati says

Aditya and Chirag were also swimming. Aditya was shirtless and it displayed his abs and his biceps his hair was wet and silky. He wore green and white swim shorts

"Wait imlie you can't swim"Aditya says

I nod

"I can teach you"he says

"Well I'm already teaching her"Rupati says in this 'isn't it obvious tone'

"Well she is my wife so"he says smiling and I begin to blush

"Fine,I'll just be over there"Rupati says swimming to Chirag 

"Okay let's start"he says

He lifts me up and throws me flat into the water. I thought I was going to drown but I didn't.

I was floating

"I'm floating"I say in excitement

"Okay paddle your feet"he says using his hands to hold me up

I start paddling my legs and I start swimming

"I'm doing it,I'm doing it"I say swimming

"Well I'm tired,I going to lay on the sand"he says swimming away

"Well I will stay here and continue practicing"I say

POV: Aditya

I was relaxing on my beach chair when Rupati came running to me and Chirag

"Did you Guys hear of the girl that is drowning right now"Rupati says

"What"Chirag say

"Imlie is swimming"I say as I remember and start running to the sea

I look around but I can't see her so I dive into the ocean

I swim and swim until I see her bangle floating on the top of sea. I dive deep into the water and I find her so I pulled her up to shore

"Imlie"I say but she is not moving
So I start pressing on her chest with both of my hand pressed on one another.

I did it ten times but nothing happened, I did it one more time and she sat up and began to violently cough and throw up the water

I hugged her in relief

"What happened"She says

"Don't ever do that again"I say hugging her again

..................

It was so boring at home, nothing was happening at home I just sat there with imlie in the living room doing nothing

It was 7 pm and it was so boring

"Hey I have an idea on what we should do"lmlie says as she drags me somewhere

She keeps on dragging me until she reaches her old room in the atic. I look at her in confusion then she opens the window and jumps through  so I jump through and I see her sitting on the roof so I joined her

"Look up"she says

So I look up and see the beautiful stars

"Waw,it's so beautiful"I say

"Yeah"she say

"They are like your eyes"I mistakenly say

"Thank you"she says awkwardly

Why did I say that,dumbass

"Em Aditya"Imlie says

"Yeah"I answer

"Thanks for saving me today"she says

"It's okay,I shouldn't have left you even though I knew you couldn't swim"I say in an apologetic way

"It's not your fault, I shouldn't have gone to deep"She says

"Well whatever let's enjoy the stars"I say as a comfortable silence takes over

After a while of staring into the stars  Imlie fell asleep resting on my shoulder

Her head tilted to my shoulder and it was so comfortable but I decided to carry her to the bedroom

I carried her through the window and walked to our room and layed her down on the bed and layed next to her

"Life is so good with you imlie"I say with a smile

I look at the time and it's one in the morning and I start sleeping

POV: imlie

"Are you sure it's safe"I say to Aditya

"Yes, don't worry"he says kissing my forehead

"Okay,Bye"I say as he waves and leaves

I had to go to school today but I wanted to visit my dad first

Actually the dad that abandoned me

I went to Malini's house and knocked on the door and she opened it.

"Hi"I say

"What?"she says sounding moody

"I want to see dad"I say and push through the door

I see him sitting on the couch

"Imlie"he says

"Hello"I say

"What are you doing here"he says sounding excited

"I came to visit"I say

"Well that's good,sit down breakfast is almost ready"he say gesturing to the dining table

"No thanks,I have to go to school early"I say

"Okay maybe next time"he says and waves at me as I leave

I was done with my classes and got a call to  come back home. I got  home and I felt tension all over the room

"What happened"I say

"Aditya got kidnapped"Rupati replies

As soon as the word kidnapped came out of her mouth my heart sank ,my hands were sweating and my head was spinning but I had to put that aside

"Have you guys called the police"I say

"Yeah they are on their way"Chirag answers

Out of nowhere Malini come in shouting where is My Aditya

My Aditya, excuse you

"He will be fine"Chirag says calming her down

After a while the police came in and they started interrogating us instead of finding Aditya

I walk to the inspector and I ask him what happened he said  Aditya was getting info on some terrorist and he got caught and they kidnapped him

I was shocked, Aditya told me he was going into the wood to get pics of some animals

The inspector asked who is Aditya's wife

"I'm his wife"I say more confidently

"I am Aditya kumar tripathi's wife,Malini Aditya kumar tripathi"she says jumping up from her seat

I look at her in confusion when mother in law said Malini is his wife
