Rei, despite his bubbly exterior, wanted something else.
But it seemed like Kuyo just wanted to keep their relationship mostly romantic.
They were somewhat opposites underneath the cracked mask of happy and apathetic-- desiring and passionate.
Sure, they'd kissed a lot. Maybe even had a steamy night or two, but he longed for more. Sometimes, he even pondered asking directly.
But, what if it feels forced? Even though he wants intimacy, he doesn't want to ruin what they have by forcing love.
And, Rei doesn't want to lose everything.
