Death and Darkness

Brightness. Was all I saw, excruciating pain in my leg. Was this real?

"Ari- ARIA" My dad panted. "Stay with me" I groaned and opened my eyes slightly "Daddy..?" I gasped. "My leg..." I choked out then lost consciousness.

*Rick's POV*

I looked down at my daughter. My beautiful daughter. Her leg hung lower than the other and was abnormally shaped and twisted.

as soon as I got her back in camp Carol was examining her

"it's dislocated at the knee" she said "I'm gonna have to put it back in place then she'll be fine"

I sighed in relief. " Thank god," I muttered.                

"Is she okay?!" My wife came up after about an hour

"Mhm." I said coldly " where the hell have you been" I raised my voice slightly

"I needed to tell shane something" she muttered "Hm." I grunted " He's more important then Aria our Daughter." I snarled "Listen Lori i know whats happening you've been messing around with Shane" I said "but you could at least be here for Ari" my voice cracked on the last word She sighed

"Rick he took advantage of me, promised he'd keep carl safe" She laughed bitterly

"He isnt you rick.. I love you, he and I are done thats what I was doing telling him we were done and he kissed me told me he'd kill for me.. He'd kill you for me" she said shakily

"Oh.." I said in shock before a groan sounded in my ear and I looked over "Daddy.." Aria said weakly

*Loris's POV*

"Baby?" I said panicked rushing to my daughters side and holding her hand "Oh my sweet baby girl" I murmured to myself holding onto her hand and squeezing it gently "How are you feeling love?" I said "Mh,good I think? My leg hurts a little and so does my head" She mumbled and I nodded "Are you hungry dear?" I asked and she nodded "Okay what would you like?" I asked again "Soup" she said and I nodded walking out and grabbing a can of soup and one of Jaqui's bowls and heated ot over the fire and sticking a spoon in it and returning "here you go my little one" I said softly "Is it good? Hot enough" I asked and she nodded "yeah momma" she murmured "Im sorry momma for earlier, I love you" She said with tearful eyes "Baby.. Its okay I love you." I responded and hugged her and kissed her forehead before walking away.

*Shane's POV*

I watched lori walk away from the tent Aria was in before I slunk in and smirked unzipping my pants quietly as she was asleep I knocked her on the head just in case I undid her pants before I heard a safety click "Get the hell away from my daughter.." I heard lori say and I froze. before she pulled the trigger.

*Lori's POV*

Holy shit. I just killed someone I looked at shane with the gunshot wound in his head and I spit on his body "Fuck you" I said as people rushed over and gasped when they saw shane and then Aria's unbuttoned pants "He was gonna rape her" I said and walked away as Rick stopped me I pulled out of his grip
