Jahzara walked into school extra happy. Carmén was ok and she had gotten news about her father.
Jahzara's father, Aaron, had served overseas for the navy. He had been gone since right after Christmas. Her mother had broken the news yesterday that he was coming home Saturday.
"Got good news?" Jacoby asked as the girl sat next to them
"How'd you know?" Jahzara asked
"You're smiling. You never smile like that this early." Yamara said as she smiled at her friend's happiness
