He was walking through the streets. All alone amidst a horde of people. No one paid heed to this tiny little man. They kept rushing to wherever they had to be. So the man kept walking.
Head down, shoulders slumped, all hope lost.
His tribe was sent here to study the ways of the humans. They were taught how to transform into humans. But no one taught them how to overcome this feeling of being alone amidst hundreds of people. He knew he didn't want to bring this feeling of loneliness on their planet.
So he was taking one last walk through the streets. Feeling lost on his last day on Earth, when he came across a stuffed teddy bear lying on the sidewalk. And suddenly, it all clicked into place.
He remembered seeing what the humans called a cartoon. There was a man in that cartoon who had a teddy bear similar to this. And when the world wasn't ready to heed his presence, the man found a friend in his teddy.
That moment, the alien knew which quality of the humans he wanted to bring back on his planet.
Their incredible way of finding happiness where none exists.
