I've never seen Y/n look so sad before. She's always smiling even when something inconveniences her. I'm so worried about her.
Y/n mumbles and I look at her.
"What'd you say?" I ask.
"I don't wanna see them." Y/n says.
"It's better see them now than to see them at the funeral and have strong feelings." I say.
A man and a woman sit in front of us and Y/n stares at them.
"Who's this?" The man asks.
"Uh, Hailee. Hailee, this is my brother Tommy and my sister Allison." Y/n says.
"How have you been?" Tommy asks.
"I'm okay. What about you guys?" Y/n says.
"Great." Tommy says.
"That's good." Y/n says.
You could cut the tension with a knife.
"I heard your song on the radio." Allison says.
"Which one?" Y/n asks.
"The one that went number 1." Allison says.
"Olay, which one?" Y/n asks.
Tommy laughs and Y/n smiles.
"Baby, you got me blind. The way you shine." Allison sings.
"That's about her." Y/n says.
"Really? I didn't know you were into American girls." Tommy says.
"I'm into beautiful girls and I hit the jackpot with her." Y/n says holding my hand.
I smile and kiss her cheek.
"How long have you been dating?" Allison asks.
"A little over a month." I say.
"Have you moved in together? I heard that's what gay people do." Tommy says.
"No, I live in California and she lives in Florida." I say.
"What about marriage? Who's gonna move where?" Allison asks.
"I'll move to California. I don't think my roommates would mind." Y/n says.
I smile and Allison nods.
