I opened my eyes and I immediately recognised the hospital lights
Ugh not again
"Soph?" I heard a raspy voice form beside me
I looked to my right and Luke was holding my hand and his eyes were red
"Hey pretty boy" I said smiling and he looked at me with tears in his eyes
"Sophia I almost lost you" he said and my smile fell
"What?" I said confused
"Do you remember what happened?" He asked me slowly
"Yeah I passed out because of the heat stroke" I said trying to remember the car ride to the hospital
"When we arrived at the hospital you were one minute away from having a cardiac arrest baby" he said looking into my eyes
I gasped, my hand flying to my mouth
"What? What happened?" I asked tears blurring my vision
"The heat stroke was very serious and it affected your blood pressure and your heart dramatically. We don't know why it happened so fast but we were lucky that we made it fast to the hospital" he explained
Omg, what the actual fu-
"Hey Soph, how are you feeling?Calum said waking up from the chair across my bed and grabbing his stethoscope
"I'm shocked but i feel okay, I'm a bit tired but that's all" I said as he moved to listen to my heart and check my pulse
After he was done he looked at me in the eyes and then he moved so quickly I didn't even see him
He hugged me so tight I thought I was going to stop breathing
"Goddamnnit Soph, you scared us all so much" he said still hugging me
"You're never going out in the sun" he said and I chuckled
"He saved you Soph" Luke said and I looked at him as I pulled back from Calum
"I was so freaked out I had to leave the room but Calum was the one that jumped into action straight away" Luke said and I felt the tears come back
"Thank you so much Calum, thank you" I said and he nodded smiling at me
"Always Soph, I'm glad you're okay" he said
"I think I remember you slapping me" I said to change the mood
"For fucks sake, you know what never mind I'm never saving you again, fuck it" he said playfully and we all laughed for a moment
I can't believe all this shit happened because a stayed in the sun for a long time
I'm literally never going out again
I can't imagine how Luke must have felt, even right now he looked so broken all I wanted to do is hug him and never let him go
So that's what I did
We lay together until we fall asleep
