Chapter 5

Sophia

The rest of the weekend went by fast and it was mainly me and the guys watching movies and doing some work for Monday

It was now Monday and I had just arrived at the school after I woke up , I got ready and said goodbye to the guys

"Good morning Katie" I said to my colleague

"Good morning Sophia" she said back to me smiling

I loved the school environment everyone was so nice to each other and we all loved the children like they were our own

We always went on school trips and sing and dance together it was a great job overall

"Did you have a nice night out?" She asked me and I looked at her

"Oh yeah I threw up 3 times and not because of the alcohol but because of a stomach infection" I said back sarcastically

"Oohhh I'm sorry that sound bad" she said cringing

"Yep but I'm fine now so don't worry" I said

"Yeah I bet the guys took great care of you" she said to me smiling as I rolled my eyes

"Yeah they were pretty annoying but they really helped me" I said as she nodded

After that the bell rang

"Okay I have to go we're learning about animals today" I said as I grabbed my things going to the door

"Good luck , have a nice day" Katie said to me

"You too!" I said from the hallway

As I entered my class I saw my favourite faces

"Good morning kids" I said smiling

Kids were my source of happiness

"Good morning Miss" I heard back from different little voices

"Today we are going to learn about animals does any of you have any pet at home?" I asked as I sat down on the carpet with them on a circle

"I have a dog"

"I have a cat"

"I have a little bird"

" I have a turtle"

Some of the kids said with excitement and I nodded

"That's great so today we are going to talk about all kinds of animals , their food, and the circle of life" I said as I started getting all of my crafts together

The day went by fast and the kids were super excited about all of the animals so it was a success

It was currently 2pm and I was leaving school to go to my car when I saw a familiar face I didn't want to see ever again

Jackson

Aka my abusive ex

Me and Jackson were together for 3 years and he used to verbally abuse me but at the last year he got physical with me and the last straw was 5 months ago were he literally almost killed me

Let's just say that things got really bad

He used to be really sweet and loving but when he saw me with other people and especially the guys he got really jealous and would scream and break things

Until he broke my nose

And some of my ribs

I finally broke up with him with the guys help and after that I moved in with them to feel safer and because the wanted to make sure I was okay
