Chapter 4

Sophia

I felt someone lightly shake my body and I groaned trying to touch my face but someone stopped me

"Be careful of the IV"Calum said to me as he pushed my hands down

"What time is it?" I asked slowly opening my eyes

"It's 11 in the morning" he said and I slowly starting to get up

"How are you feeling?" Calum asked me as he helped me sit up

"Tired" I said

"Well that's normal but do you have any pains?Do you feel dizzy or like you want to throw up?" He asked me

"Umm my stomach still hurts a bit and I have headache but I'm fine other than that" I said and he nodded

"Okay let me check you real quick" he said and grabbed the thermometer and put it on my forehead

"Okay no fever that's good" he said and grabbed his stethoscope

"Take some deep breaths for me" he said as he placed it under my shirt

After 2 minutes he pulled back and pushed me down again

"Just going to check your stomach real quick I promise I'm not going to hurt you" he said and lifted my shirt

After feeling around for a bit he helped me up

"Okay your stomach is still a bit irritated but that's also normal so just take it ease for the next couple of days"he said and I nodded

"Can you take this out?" I asked as I showed my IV

"Yep wait a second" he said

After he put on gloves and grabbed a cotton ball he gently grabbed my hand and removed the tape around my IV

"Look the other way" he said as he hold the IV ready to take it out

"I'm not a baby Cal" I said and he looked at me

"I didn't say you're a baby but you are blood and needle sensitive and I don't want you passing out" he said and felt someone grab my face to turn it

I felt him pull out the IV and put a cotton ball with a slight pressure before taping it down

"Okay all done" Calum said as he threw away the IV and his gloves

"Good I'm going to take a bath" I said as I stood up and made my way to my room and then to the bathroom

As I made my way to the bathroom I saw Michael

"Soph did someone check you?"he asked me and I rolled my eyes

"Yes Cal did and I'm fine I'm just going to take a bath" I said and he nodded

"Okay if you need something just yell" he said to me and he turned around

I really loved how the guys always cared about me and we were all helping each other

I really couldn't have asked for better friends even though sometimes they were annoying with the doctor-y things

After I bathed and I change into comfortable clothes I went downstairs to the kitchen so I could eat something since I was starving

I haven't eaten anything since last night

I made myself some potato soup so that I could ease my stomach too and after I ate I started working on some crafts that I needed to have ready for Monday's class

"How are you feeling Soph?" Luke asked me as he walked into my room where I was working on the crafts

"You guys have literally asked me that 25 times" I said back

"Yeah cause you were sick as hell and had an IV all night" Luke said as he laid on my bed besides me

"Yeah well the IV clearly worked I'm fine now" I said and he nodded

"So what are you doing?" He asked me grabbing some colorful papers I had

"I have to get ready these crafts so I we can learn about animals and stuff on Monday" I said as I snatched the paper out of his hands

"Aaww that sounds so cute" he said while smiling widely at me learnt mocking me

"Shut up we weren't all born doctors" I said lightly pushing him and laughing

"I'm joking Sophie I actually find your job really important you get to see children all day and help them with their first ever school class" he said to me as I was coloring

"Yeah well not everyone thinks like that but honestly I love my job so I don't really care what they think" I said back looking at him

"Good you shouldn't anyways what you do is really important" he said and I smiled at him

"Thanks Lukey" I said and he groaned

"Oh my god don't call me that I've told you like 5 million times" he said hiding his face with his hands

His mom once called him like that in front of me and since then I haven't stopped mocking him about it

I laughed out loudly trying to control myself but I couldn't

"I'm sorry it's so funny" I said while laughing

"Whatever go back to your crafts I'm going for a walk" he said lightly smiling and going to the door

" Luke you know I love ya right?" I said and he smiled

" I know love ya too Sophianna" he said and I threw him a pillow at the nickname i hated

"Fuck off" I said as he closed the door as we both laughed
